A rustic minimalist Vietnamese eatery serving inexpensive bowls of oxtail pho and pork banh mi, but also rolls, rice, and noodle dishes made with locally sourced product. Drop in for lunch or dinner.

Get there before 9 if you want to have the beef or oxtail pho, they run out for good reason. Shrimp rice plate was very tasty and BYOB!

Washugyu Beef Banh Mi is pretty darned good. Diff than what i'm used to in OC & The SGV. Chili (with seeds) isn't too spicy, easy to just spread it about the Banh Mi. Place your order & have a seat ✌

All that has been said about the imperial rolls are true. Super crispy, dusted with pepper and perfect when paired with that touch of mint.

The oxtail pho is surprisingly good but I came in with low expectations knowing that hella good pho is all in the SGV. The oxtail meat was fatty and not stingy :)

Ox tail pho is really good. Broth has a very good mouthfeel from all the gelatinous breakdown.

Oxtail Pho broth is legendary. Only Pho I've ever had that didn't need/want extra sauces added 🍜

Skip the shrimp rice bowl and the eggplant & tofu stir fry. Both very sweet.

The pork chop with broken rice is yummy with just enough flavor to prevent it from feeling too heavy.

I had the beef pho. Soup was a bit bland. However the sandwich was very good.

Don't get an iced coffee. Even if It's Intelligencia coffee, it is way too weak for Vietnamese iced coffee. I ended up with drinking hot without pouring it into ices to prevent it from diluting more.

It's pronounced phuh (and the accent makes it sound like a question--pho?) and bun mee not foe and ban me. It drives me slightly crazy. But then I can't do all seven tones so I shouldn't criticize...

Pho is bland - pass on that. Save your taste buds for the imperials rolls (just like SF's Slanted Door) and the broken rice plate dishes.

Disappointing pho. Not much flavor in the broth. The search for decent Viet food on the west side continues.

Do not get the iced coffee. It was weak, watered down, 3/4 full cup - for $4. I was desperate.
