By far the best bakery in SF, pasties and bread are fresh made every day, pretty crowded on Saturday and Sunday, the coffee is great as well

Very cute shop - hoping they will expand their offerings to include a traditional French baguette and not just give in to the over abundant sour dough offerings.

Their bread is great, so are their chocolate chip cookies. They brew stumptown coffee, but no pour overs.

Good pastries to go but don't come here for sit down service. My eggs and bacon came cold (not even warm). Sticky tables and very very slow service. Waited 30 mins for my food.
Best coffee on chestnut. Best quiche in San Francisco.
The breads are delicious. They always have bread samples. Great people too!

Tough to complain about anything when you're noshing on a banana & chocolate croissant.
Seeded batard is one of the best in the city which is saying a lot.
- Alisa KarOctober 15, 2016Didn't like their coffee neither croissants (tasteless) and another kind of baked desert we got. Especially don't get the reason why the prices are that high for the deserts which aren't good!
- If you're a bread snob, try their baguette. There's nothing quite like it....really.

Colin JohnstonMarch 19, 2016Really chaotic and disorganized cafe; terrible service, and very dismissive staff. Pastries are really good but overall there are better places.
The gluten free bouchon is an excellent source of chocolate.
