seems they've dropped the food prices slightly. you can keep your bill reasonable. love this spot—one of the few newish additions to the hood that actually feels authentic.

Get a Mar's Manhattan. Why? 30+ years of cocktail experience, that's why. This isn't a place for bros on spring break, so bring money and enjoy the atmosphere.

The best steak tartare for my money. Definitely a must. Great rotating cocktails as well. My wife and I's favorite place for an after work happy hour drink.

Dan is a great bartender and makes the best Manhattans. This is my all-time favorite cocktail bar.

Best oysters in Astoria. A hidden gem for a civilized brunch. Get the chicken fried steak.
