Trendy and Hipster hotel with a truly great coffee shop (Bulldog) inside. Apparently you can rent bicycles from here (of course because it's Shoreditch) and there's free WiFi for working too.
Amazing hotel to stay at, friendly staff, laid back atmosphere, nice restaurant and if your looking for a place to work in Shoreditch the kiddy bar/cafe is your place
My favourite place to stay in London. If your room is facing the street, it will get loud on weekends. But you're staying in Shoreditch, so get out there and have fun!
Perfect for spending a morning working/reading! Big tables, free wifi and nice coffee and drinks. The only negative is the lack of that many plugs. At night it gets really busy and loung-y.
My favorite hotel in the shoreditch area, beds are super comfy and spacious I also love the items for purchase in the rooms. You can also order room service from the restaurant next door.
Hipper than hip crowd, good restaurants and lobby and bit warm and noisy rooms. Location in Shoreditch is great, so if you can spend the money, go for it
Great coffee and wifi. Seating can be difficult to find in middle of the day- recommend working from the back bar area. There is also a rooftop but it's closed and only open for private events.
Cool, friendly & cheeky staff. Fun rooms with thoughtful details such as a turntable and awesome selection of vinyls, a guitar, snacks and other goodies.
Trendy hipster bar with a photo booth, cocktail bar, roof terrace and club in the basement. Food looks great too. Not cheap though so start or end here.
The lobby is full of hipsters but the hotel is just amazing. I had a great time there. They are super attentive to details, the bed is big and comfy and the room is beautifully decorated.
I’ve not stayed here but it’s a great location to get some work done of an afternoon. A cosy atmosphere with comfy sofas, a bar and cafe. The drinks are pricey...£7 for two Diet Cokes 😱
Don't know about the rooms, but the lounge is nice, with a good coffee shop inside. Free WiFi attracts a lot of working people: it can be hard to find a seat with a plug after 10AM!
I've stayed at Aces all over the U.S. and the Ace London feels like a comfortable bridge between America and the UK. Big rooms, great staff, and good restaurants.
Good sized rooms for London, unique energetic feel, restaurants and amenities are comprehensive, Great location for partying and eating. Not a hotel for relaxation.
Friendly staff and perfectly made cocktails. A nice place to keep to yourself or to bring a friend or two for a quiet drink. Has USB charge points and sockets.
The Ace Hotel lobby and the adjacent Bulldog Edition have become de facto Shoreditch coworking spaces. Perfect for a causal meeting over a coffee or drink.
A very trendy hotel in Shoreditch that let's folks hang out in the lobby and avail themselves of their free WiFi. It's well set up for working but was too "hipstery" for me.
I want to write a bad review just to keep people away and avoid this place to be completely overrun. But frankly, this is my favorite spot to drop in any time of the day. It's just so nice here.

New hotel from the US group that already has funky hotels in NYC, Seattle, Portland, LA and Panama!! This one is in hip Shoreditch close to all the bars and restaurants
staff is too cool to be friendly, hotel feels more like hostel, party every night w music blasting into rooms; paying £300/night and to watch TV I gotta pay £15? Not even the water in the room is free
