Lots of great Japanese food and shops. Visit Japan Center. Lots of stationery shops and beautiful ceramics. Don't forget to wander about outside too. Great Japanese food!

The best place to get everything Japanese! My fave: ramen & chix katsu curry. Get all the Japanese sweets! Nomnomnom. Enjoy your visit, eat a lot & feel happy. You're in SF after all!

Arriving here via BART is annoyingly difficult; you can either take the 38 and put down another $2, or walk for 30 minutes.
