- Joseph LeSeptember 1, 2015The pork belly bun is so delicious! Go steamed if you want a lighter meal and baked if you wanna get full. Have one of both! :)
- ValAugust 14, 2018Their miso tofu isn’t vegan or vegetarian. It’s has buttermilk + fish sauce. They should adjust the recipe to be inclusive. Had bao w/ toppings of bok choy, daikon + tofu dressing. Ok but not filling
- Cheryl ❤️ MarquezJune 16, 2012The spicy chicken in the baked bun is bomb! Try the pork belly with daikon too.
- Cheryl ❤️ MarquezJune 20, 2012Baked spicy chicken and the steamed pork belly. I usually eat only the meat and not the steamed bun to save calories.
- ScoutmobNovember 28, 2011The design on the Chairman Bao bun truck is by artist James Jean, who's also designed for Prada.
- Kekoa ProudfootJune 2, 2010Mmm... get the baked pork belly bun, it's a nice size and the baked bun holds together better than the steamed one so it's easier to eat.
- Every time I come here I tell myself "I'm going to try the pork belly" & yet I leave with my favorite: steamed braised pork w/mustard seeds
- Rob BrambleySeptember 23, 2010Pulled pork bun is not that great. Sesame chicken was delicious. Get the steamed buns and you're able to get more variety.

- Andy WongJuly 25, 2010Duck bun and pork belly bun super yummy, super tiny, and super pricey. I did not like the lions head meatball bun. Strawberry coconut drink is good, not great. Ginger lychee drink is good but sour.
- Barbara StephensonMay 20, 2010Steamed buns are smaller so you can try more yummy stuff- like duck confit AND the pork belly.
- To avoid waiting in line too long, get here between 5 and 5:30 on Fridays. 6 bun limit!
- sam tamJune 2, 2010Tasty but in my opinion pretty damn expensive for the food you get. 2.95 for a small bun is overpriced.
