One of the good things about this hotel is its name, Askar. It sounds like "Asgaard". I always enjoy when I need to say where I stay.

Cheap and good hotel. Affordable at a reasonable price. The location is quite far from attractive part of Baku, but still reachable by metro.

The windows of the rooms on the street side cannot be opened due the outside packing of the building, except 6th floor. It is better to pick a room on the back side or on the 6th floor.
