This little ramen shop makes pretty solid bowls of noodle soup. The flavors are pretty tame, but the char siu is top notch and I enjoyed it nonetheless. Read more on WinstonWanders below! Read more
Cute and homey! Shio black kojiro ramen was one of the best ramen I've tasted in NYC. Rich and soulful. Chix breast chashu was v good. Added menma for more earthiness.
Pork broth was a bit less hearty than I like, but the spicy shio option made up for it. Not my favorite, but I would definitely go back. Marinated egg and the mini curry were both WAY AMAZING.
Very nice noodles at this "hole in the wall" Nice and hearty. I hade the chicken with garlic oil and it was very nice. Big portions with lots of broth.
Shio black pork ramen (sub in wavy egg noodles and chicken shio broth) and pork pan-fried gyoza. Love this spot! Cleaner tasting broth and perfectly cooked al dente noodles
I'm surprised this place isn't more busy. The ramen is unpretentious and delicious. Maybe it's lacking something cool to hype about? Well try it out before it gets too popular
The spicy shio ramen is delicious, and the nitamago (soft boiled egg) is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The food here is authentic, and this place is cozy and intimate.
Always dependable when it comes to satisfying your ramen needs. Just don't ask them to add anything they will charge you $2 to add 3 pcs of corn or some shallots
Amazing ramen in tiny shop. The staff weren't very happy or polite but at least they were quick to serve us. No credit card payments! Cash only #thisis2016wtf
Cash only. Had the Tonkatsu Black Ramen (broth full of salt) and gyoza (meat fell out of the thin wrap). So if you like extremely salty broth and flimsy gyoza, this is the place to beeeeeeee
Very small place. I came at 8 on a Sunday, so it was pretty empty. The Shio Black Tonkatsu was pretty good. Love the pork, the egg, and the garlic oil. Broth could be better, and noodles very thin.
