Finally! A Whole Foods on the UES! Their produce department is massive! Overall, the store is a bit confusing with the layout and different floors, but I'm sure I'll get used to it in no time.

The little coffee shop quick eats setup at the entrance is great. It's isolated from the market and allows people who are there for coffee or quick food stay out of the way of people shopping.

Upstairs for produce and other groceries...downstairs is more express and hot/cold bar that can be eaten in the cafe. Check out line is claustrophobic!

Organic, gluten free, lots of kale in every form imaginable. Prepared foods are good and can be consumed in the cafe in ten mezzanine level.

Love having one I can walk to finally. Detest the checkout process, winding lines make me think twice before subjecting myself to them.

Seems smaller than the other locations in the city. But the multiple-level set-up makes the flow less cramped. The hot food order station and hot bars are a great option for a quick meal.

Groceries upstairs and prepared foods downstairs. Not too crowded in the early mornings, at least so far. Happy to have WF on the UES!

Why are pickles in 3 different sections? I have found the store to be too complicated of a layout for many foods!

The produce selection is very limited - with only standard lettuce/greens selections. They don't even carry standards like heads of cabbage or escarole, and mustard greens. Not a cook's grocery.

Yes, it's a Whole Foods on the UES, but the service is East Harlem. Poor training leading to poor customer service & interactions. Also, stock rotation is slack, so look to the back for fresher stock.
