- Barry BloomApril 13, 2017So glad this place is still there. Great view, good food. Been eating lunch here since the 1970s. Fine alternative and a lot more inexpensive than the Cliff House right below. Tuna on sourdough roll.
- Get the corner booth, if you can. Great traditional diner with local, organic ingredients. A classic SF institution with great views! Great breakfasts.
- Damian BayonaJanuary 23, 2017Best diner views in SF. Breakfast is the time to go. Expect a little wait if you want a booth.
- Iben RodriguezSeptember 17, 2012Cash only but they have an ATM on site. Be sure to allow time for a walk down to the Sutro Baths -
http://sutrobaths.com/ and there's ample parking across the street so don't stress about parking. - Roy BotApril 6, 2014Food is nothing special. But you gotta fuel up before your big hike! Tip: beat the wait and get food to go. Eat right outside with the same view!

- J KJanuary 17, 2017Two eggs any style, breakfast potatoes and an English muffin ($8.25) and coffee ($2.75). On the cliffs.
- Kurt NelsonNovember 26, 2018In a city lacking diners, luckily we have a decent one that also has great views
- Adao JuniorJuly 14, 2013Great view of the Ruins and the sea. Nice food also. Try the Fish and Chips.

- David BernalNovember 25, 2014I remember nice breakfasts admiring the Pacific ocean views and the sutro baths ruins.
- Brandon LandJanuary 6, 2015Dope Patty Melt. Much needed comfort food after checking out the Sutro Baths.
- Ted SmithMarch 18, 2017Told the wait would be 20 minutes; waited 45 minutes. Ordered a burger; it came burned and tasteless with wilted lettuce and mealy tomato. A greasy spoon, with 3-star prices. Avoid.
- Liam SullivanMarch 8, 2013A basic omelette and a cup of coffee, and I'm out the door for 20 bucks!! Iconic place but tourist trap pricing!!!!
- CharleneJanuary 2, 2010Order the hashed browns, traditional and the best in town. Sit by the windows overlooking the Sutro Baths.
- Omelets are a huge rip off. If you order coffee, they barely give you any half & half- 6 or 7 drops per cup tops.
- Ted SmithMarch 18, 2017I ordered a burger. It came with limp, wilted lettuce, mealy tomato, burned and tasteless to boot. Basically a greasy spoon, with 5-star prices. Avoid.
- Xochitl CMarch 25, 2012Cash only and they only serve French toast until noon. What is this blasphemy?
- Walk along the coastal trail from the Golden Gate Bridge to Sutro Baths and then stop in here for lunch.
