- Jackson IsaacsonJune 23, 2015The cold brew is great, and the frozen green drink is delicious. Plus the cookies. Always the cookies.
- Best mocha in the city. Also love that all of their baked goods have no added sugar, everything is vegan, and still delicious. Great neighborhood spot.
- Malin Ali BeyAugust 10, 2016I'm not a connisour buy I know a decent cup of Joe and this didn't disappoint. Also had a pastry, it was fresh and tasty; locally sourced. Not a bad place to be for your morning caffeine fix.
- Friendliest baristas ever. Loyalty punch cards. Good espresso. Excellent almond milk tea chai latte.
- "Jack’s stir brewer, a contraption of his own patented design, brews a house blend to remove bitterness." - Time Out New York. This is wonderful coffee - full of flavor, but no bitterness to be found.
- Steve ColemanFebruary 10, 2015The Teddy Boy is Espresso, Sugar & Cream shaken over ice. It's a great change up to your usual iced coffee routine
- This place has ruined all other coffee shops for me. Their coffee is the best I've had in the FiDi and they knew me after only three visits.
- The cold brew is crazy delicious. Not inexpensive, but worth it IMHO.
- Great service, delish and strong coffee and a great historic location.
- Amazing coffee and an incredible, friendly staff. Had it every day this summer and can't wait to come back! Definitely worth a visit. Oh and their cookies are insanely delicious
- The mad max is my favorite; it's a must try. For those that are gluten free they have a cookie worth trying! You can find it on top of the glass case. Enjoy!
- Grania VHNovember 3, 2017Coffee is good and the vegan chocolate donuts are the most amazing thing and I'm not even vegan!
- Jordan FrankfurtMarch 26, 2016Rarely ordered, and potentially confusing to the barista, the granola with milk is amazing.
- Joe SheppardSeptember 16, 2014Lovely staff & decent espresso -- perfect with an inexpensive but delicious little macaroon (esp for people with food allergies).
- SS+K's Guide to Downtown NYMarch 21, 2012Best coffee spot in the downtown area, and the place most likely to run into SS+K'ers during the day (outside of the kitchen). Look for fresh oreo cookies on Tuesdays.
- Nidhi KaySeptember 13, 2018Such great friendly people here make a great dirty chai and rest of drinks are very good too
- Little known fact: After Hurricane Sandy, the dedicated staff at Jack's have been brewing coffee up at 10th St. and bringing it down for us every day that weather permits. Thanks!
- Great after lunch/work to sip coffee and people watch out the window.
- Expensive but yummy! Love the cold brew. Baristas are always friendly.
- Tif C.January 15, 2015The happy jack was good and the employees were friendly. The favorites aren't particularly hot though, and they were giving orders out of turn (even though I ordered the same thing). Meh.
- So happy Jack's is back! One of the best coffee spots in the neighborhood!
- Terence ChanJuly 1, 2015Cider donut was meh. Coffee wasn't anything special in terms of it being specially brewed to reduce acidity. No free wifi. 3/5
- The best coffee, espresso drinks. Great Ronnybrook yogurt, and Croissant and bagels. yum!
- Try the everything bagel! One of the best in the city. Go nuts and get the cream-cheese and (any) jam.

- The combination of honey and espresso in the Happy Jack is like sweet nectar from the gods. Best time to get it is around 3pm when you're hitting your afternoon low.
