Do not go on a Wednesday. The pope speaks that day and the line to get in after that (it opens at noon that day) goes all the way around the piazza.

De kettingen waarmee Sint Pieter (van de grootste kerk op de wereld!) is opgehangen liggen in deze kerk. Er staat ook een heel mooi beeld van Moses gemaakt door Michelangelo. Verplichte cultuur!

O cabelo de Moises parece os chifres de um fauno. O papa está deitado como uma gata lânguida aos pés da Virgem. Moisés é retratado musculoso.
