Ate potato pancakes, mulled wine, & chocolate rum cake. Beautiful handmade Xmas gifts. It was crowded, but everyone was nice, polite, & just enjoying the experience. Just a note to bring cash.

The BratBus at Dearborn and Randolph has the best food. You have to try the Spatzle or German Mac and Cheese, as they're calling it. The currywurst is fantastic as well.

It was great for the most part, except don't go the Sunday before Christmas because the crowds were insane!!! On a good note, be sure to get the pulled pork w/German Cole slaw (quite tasty!)

Dont go on weekends or during prime hours - way too crowded to be enjoyable. Best things are raclette sandwiches at the Baked Cheese Shop, and the treats at St. Roger Abbey - both are must do's!

Bratwurst & sauerkraut, potato pancakes, and Snowballs are all really good. Just come with lots of patience for long lines and overcrowded areas.

For an Americanized version of a German tradition, there quite are a few authentic imports (such as Glühwein, Kartoffelpuffer (potato pancakes) and Käthe-Wohlfahrt booth).

Try to go on an off hour because it gets so crowded. Also be sure to bring cash since many places don't accept cards.

The layout of this place is horrible for lines and trying to get around. People tend to be rude when walking around. Overpriced goods. Fun to get in the mood when it's slow, when it's busy not so much

Mamas don't bring your strollers. Have your little ones walk or wear them. Lots of booths don't allow you in with them.
