- Ben K.December 31, 2014So many amazing Korean dishes from Roy Choi here. Must get the "Beep Beep" uni rice bowl. Poke is fresh and delicious. Galbi is traditional but flavors are perfect. I loved the "Old School" pot.
- Alfred ManMay 11, 2014Get the steam egg! So good! Also the poke me salad, potato pancake, grilled shrimp and kim chi fried rice. Great place to share food...so bring a bunch! Service was great too!
- Adrian PhillipsMarch 23, 2015My favorite dishes are the Spicy BBQ Pork, the Spicy Shrimp Yum & the Tuna Poke (which is basically a tasty tuna salad). The Old School pot is also great. Ask about spice if you're sensitive to heat.
- Christi SotomayorApril 9, 2014Welcome to Hot Pot Disneyland. Your tummy will be so happy! Whatever you do, get the Kimchi Fried rice. It's RUH-DIC-U-LUSS. Soju cocktails are also a must - kimchi is a hit, as is walnut! Go Now!
- Los Angeles TimesAugust 3, 2014The uni dynamite rice bowl, the closest thing to a must order, is slicked with spicy sauce. The soju cocktails are flavored with things like kimchi and curry. Read more
- Melissa PurnerApril 29, 2015So hip. Really appreciate all of the subtle details in everything from the decor to the food. Small hot pot with a side or two is perfect for two people. Cocktail program is stong.
- Alchemiq CateringAugust 24, 2015The place has not disappointed. Relaxed, tasty experience with knowledgable service. Sesame leaf wrap and uni crispy rice were among the best.
- Connie ChiuMarch 31, 2015I love it more for the gimmick than the food. They give you cute apron bibs to wear, delicious "pot" water, and newspaper menus.
- Thomas ColtonJuly 25, 2015The hype and location will sell itself. Seasonal menu of always awesome Korean-focused food. The service can be spotty, but it happens everywhere and the restaurant shouldn't be punished for it. Go!
- Kris LJanuary 27, 2015Definitely recommend being adventurous and getting the curry (or kimchee) cocktail. The Pots are amazing (duh). Go for Old School + Uni Dynamite
- Tasting TableAugust 5, 2014Try the Boot Knocker ($25 small, $45 medium, $56 large) or seafood-loaded Fisherman's Wharf ($39, $72, $96)—supplemented with more traditional dishes to share such as kimchi fried rice ($10). Read more
- Kelly BoneAugust 13, 2014The Kush Salad with asian greens, radish, fruit, pine nuts and mustard dressing is delicate, not too mustardy and vegan!
- Unholy UndeadJune 19, 2015This place comes to life on the weekends. Starting on Thursdays there's a Dj mixing and lots of people come here. I had a great time!
- Serious EatsSeptember 12, 2014One of Roy Choi's brainchildren brings together West Coast and South Korean flavors in homegrown recipes celebrating Los Angeles' Koreatown.
- Parking is $8 for 3 hours with validation. Come early. Long waits for dinner on weekends. Lunch time is better if you don't want to wait. Try steamed egg. Yummy.
- Nick Don VitoFebruary 6, 2014Great new bar in KTown. Drinks by Matthew Biancaniello: Uni Cocktail and Mushroom-infused Borbon Cocktail...delicious and inventive!
- Jeffrey AbramsonJuly 26, 2014Sit at the bar and you can order single portion pots for 1/2 off the small size which serves two
- Allegra TepperJune 16, 2014The lobby bar has fun decor and oddball cocktails, and a late night cafe across the lobby.
- Rem KoningOctober 24, 2015Sochu selection is limited but super tasty. Order the weird stuff, especially k-town caviar.
- Jesse ThomasMarch 27, 2014Eh.. I'm a huge fan of Roy's cooking but this is just regular Korean food you can get anywhere? No fusion, nothing original? The style of the place and the cocktails were great though!
- Pete LittrellMay 1, 2014Don't miss the Poke Me. Kimchi Fried Rice and Potato Pancake were also very good.
- Brooke MorelandAugust 31, 2014The Kimchee cocktail. Great flavors, I can't even describe. Just do it.
- JenniferApril 11, 2015Waits can be a drag, but if you're willing to forgo the fancy tables, sit at the bar without the fuss. Spotty service.
- Dima AlimovMay 17, 2014Patric is the best batman ever! Best cocktails and hearted hospitality, we'll miss u in Moscow!
- Christine KimFebruary 22, 2014Music was off the hook, just don't wear winter clothes. It's HOT in there!
- Kelly BoneAugust 13, 2014The Cabbage Pot with soy bean paste, veggies, tofu, squash and potatoes is bland and boring.
- Prentice SmithOctober 15, 2014Everything is great here. At Straight outta Compton Camera Crew Dinner hosted by Matty Libatique.
- If you sit at the bar, you can only order the pot for one. No two-fers.
- Estelle TchaAugust 31, 2015The food was neither traditional Korean nor totally fusion- not quite sure what they were going for with the menu. The flavoring was overdone and it was overpriced considering the quality.
