joniJuly 1, 2016everyone raves about the VX service, so i'm SHOCKED at how bleak the food options are at the terminal! there's fake food BK, overpriced gladstone's, and la brea bakery and starbucks.
Such a great Airline, not to mention the music selection they play for you at the counter. Staff are friendly, from the ticket counter agent to the Pilot.

Eat something before you arrive at Terminal 3. The food choices are bleak. Gladstone's (greasy sea food), Burger King (fast food) or Starbucks. Yes, Starbucks is probably the best option.

Upgrading to Main Cabin Select is well worth the money you will love the miles of extra leg room and the unlimited food and drink

Scott WilsonOctober 29, 2011Open a tab on a flight through the touchscreen... They deliver food and drinks fairly reasonably on demand without a long wait. Keep tab open if you want to order movies, etc. it will email receipt

Always check ur flight status before leaving the comfor of ur own home. It isn't as nice waiting for a 2 hr delay in an airport bar 😝

Since there is no app to tell you your gate changed, better check the latest gate either in the terminal or google.
Check in 1 hr or so before flight and get good upgrade deals for first class from main cabin select: )

Great lighting makes all the difference creating Virgin's cool vibe.- Check to see if you can upgrade once on the plane... usually a good deal.

pack light if your flight is onl an hour(to SF). however, if you must check in a bag, you might as well pay an extra $10 to upgrade to MCS and drink onthe waythere.
Virgin America. A place were it doesn't feel like subsidized public transportation.
