Everything is good here. Scallops in mojo verde are succulent. Be careful with the habanero salsa it's very hot. For dessert the churros are really good, but my favorite is the pistachio tres leches.

Great guac, specialty drinks, hot cocoa, but the surprise new fave dish was the mussels! It's worth a try....but order extra bread for the sauce right away! It took almost 30 min to get extra bread...

I can't not get a caldo. Seriously, get any of them. They're filling as F & so flavorful. Guac is a must as well. Try it with all the toppings. Worth it.

Choose from five concoctions, and that's on top of their three coffee drinks. If you want a spicy kick, order the Aztec with chile and allspice. Read more

Ask to sit in Paco's section, super friendly and nice. You might spot Rick Bayless who lives in the neighborhood and frequents his Wicker Park location.

It's known for tortas but others plates were good too. Try the daily special. It's a bit expensive than what I anticipated (generally around $20, $12ish for tortas)

Ceviche $11 too oily, little fish mostly jicama. Seafood caldos $13, good. Not busy for Sunday brunch.

Their chocolate milks are ridiculously good. Made with beans sourced from the Mexican state of Tabasco. Rich, hot and delicious.

Much less crowded than the River North location, plus a full bar. Much more social and date-like atmosphere.

Caldo verde was too salty. Churro with chocolate was great! Not the best service- friend ordered a sandwich & the waiter suggested she order the dinner because it's less carbs (and $6 more).

The tortas are the same as Tortas by Frontera, which means they're great but the churro is the stand out item.

I wish the menu was different from the other store, mostly cause this feels more like a franchise than anything else. That being said, the food is fantastic.

Service here can be improved by a lot. It just really dampened the whole Xoco experience compared to the downtown Xoco.

The Tortas are the best in the city, but the service sucks. They basically rushed us out of the restaurant & the churros tasted like old burnt oil

Really slow service. Showed up at lunch and it felt like it took 10 years to eat. And there were 10 people at the whole place.
