    It's free and fast. You can even get an Italian coffee while you wait. Also the jetty on the south side is less chaotic than the others, as it's a little further from the train station entrance.

    If your hotel is on the North side of the river IJ, then these ferries are your way to get to the other side. Nice, daily experience :)

    A nice long ferry ride, good route for the tourists who want to go on a boat for free. Not much the other end though!
