Too bad citizens let big business kill the extention of monorail in Seattle, would really open up the city for residents. Monorail is free of traffic and could be a really speedy way to get around.

Don't ride the monorail just for the fun factor. Take it to go from downtown to the Seattle Center. It's $2 for a 90 second trip. I see tourist who are disappointed by this thing everyday.

Pointless. Only two stops, both of which are designed for tourists. One of the stops is soon to feature nothing but glass sculptures by an overrated artist.
Fast, direct transportation between downtown Seattle's Westlake Center (5th and Pine) and Seattle Center (home to Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, Experience Music Project, and more). Trains depart every 10 minutes.
