- Best ramen I've ever eaten hands down. Incredible. The starter of gyoza was the best I've had anywhere as well, you could taste how freshly made they were. Expect a twenty minute wait for a table.
- VictoriaMarch 22, 2018The soup is as good as those I had in Asia and for a ramen place, the decorations as well as the vibe are the best! However, if they could work on the noodles, that will be perfect! 👍🏻
- Clara EloyOctober 30, 2021Best ramen in London. Hands down. Authentic Ramen packed with flavours and melt in your mouth-pork. Just delicious
- A.November 5, 2014If Sake-no-hana ran a ramen joint—super slick. Keep in mind what's standard elsewhere are extras here i.e. boiled egg and though the menu looks limited, customise with items like the curry ball, epic!
- David RDecember 26, 2019Great ramen spot, but can get busy (there’s a few of them). Very tasty and love that they let you choose the firmness. Spicy is very spicy. Restaurant itself is beautiful as well.
- TeeDecember 15, 2014They now do spicy ramen with a spicy miso paste on top of the classic tonkotsu. It's very very good. The extra spicy option is really super spicy...
- Jon ChooOctober 25, 2014Lunch set consists of a bowl of ramen and small bowl of rice dish for £2.50 extra. Go for the Akamaru Modern ramen and eel rice.
- Excellent service and delicious ramen. Ask for a table upstairs, it is much cosier. Gyoza or Pork Bun appetisers are a great starter; get there by six to avoid queues.
- Alice ChauvelNovember 30, 2014New favourite ramen place! It gets crowded so get in early or late, but it has great service and the broth is to die for.
- TeeOctober 16, 2014The Akamaru Modern was just as good as I had in Japan! Broth enriched by black garlic oil and miso. Shame they don't have the free condiments like in Japan...
- One of my top ramen place in London. Their veggie ramen is on point👌🏻 (although egg is not included).
- hello_emilyJanuary 17, 2016The veggie ramen is better than most most meaty ramens I've had. Delicious!! Cheap sake cocktails too - £4.50!
- Mary LNovember 4, 2014The Akamaru Modern ramen was quite good with a rich, flavourful broth. I recommend asking for a side of hot chilli oil to add a bit more of a kick.
- KostasSeptember 2, 2015Shuromaru Hakata ramen and Aka vegetarian ramen are really good! Gyoza as well. Students (with ID) get a main dish + Gyoza + refreshment = 10£ on weekdays.
- My personal favourite in London after trying Kanada-Ya, Shoryu, etc. They replaced the original vegetarian from the menu, which was amazing :(
- Bruno BelcastroJuly 14, 2017Great Ramen and awesome service, go with the classic and add and egg to it!
- Jeku ArceFebruary 7, 2015New special for Feb 2015: Hakata Shoyu Tonkatsu Ramen. Earthy flavor. Nice pairing with the hot ringo sake with honey to warm up from the cold.
- DaveFebruary 8, 2015Love this place. The welcome from all the staff yelling as you walk through is a bit off-putting but other than that the service is great
- Dolapo FalolaOctober 30, 2014i'm going to overlook the fact that they have fish and chips on the menu for some reason, and just say that ippudo london brings the flavor like the other locations.
- Nina SchererOctober 17, 2015Best Ramen I have had in London. Approved by a friend who lived in Singapore for years who says 'it's nearly there' ;) Good enough for me.
- Olive LogieJanuary 17, 2016Japanese chain that I visited in Kyoto. Hasn't translated quite so well - particularly the atmosphere is not at all authentic. Ramen is tasty & filling but somehow not as satisfying as the original.
- Sonny KwokDecember 8, 2018Pretty large place, so probably no wait unlike the ramen place across the street, and Ippudo is always good on either side of the pond
- Lisa HaywardJanuary 9, 2015Great service, loved how they asked how we wanted the noodles cooked. Pork bun was excellent. Enjoyed, but I preferred the ramen in tonkotsu.
- Jenna Odett LaskinMay 15, 2015Great spot for ramen. Always start with pork buns, for first-timers go classic, then next step is my favorite Modern.
- Anna SekowskaJanuary 2, 2018I was told by a Japanese that it is the best and closest to the real thing ramen in London. It was really delicious!
- Imogen COctober 8, 2016Ramen, steamed buns, fried gyoza. No bookings so just have to turn up and wait, lovely staff
- Léa RAugust 22, 2016The Classic Ramen is just perfect & the chicken Bun: FANTASTIC !!! Staff really kind. Stay like that.
- Kentie HengApril 11, 2015bone daddies is better. the ramen texture isn't up to scratch for an ippudo, (tried those in nyc, toyko & Singapore) and the seasoned egg is still white. service is good though.
- Angéla NagyJuly 25, 2018Great yaki gyoza and delicious chicken nanban don, friendly atmosphere, quick service
- Kristina BosakDecember 14, 2017Busy place in the evening but worth waiting! Classic Ramen is quite nice even in comparison with traditional one somewhere in Japan.
- Sara CorreiaFebruary 11, 2017If you dont like/eat pork there's not much option here for you. Though the starters, specially the veggie buns are awesome❤️
- Pig JonesJuly 19, 2015からか麺 spicy ramen was very tasty. Quite spicy though, I couldn't finish all the broth:-)
- David BentoApril 7, 2018Pretty good ramen in London. Minus points for the pop (sometimes loud) music, but the food pays off.
- Manuel TrevillaAugust 8, 2016I love Ippudo in Nyc, This location is as good as anywhere but the hostess is very rude.
- Square MealMarch 31, 2015The comprehensive menu runs from starters of sticky, tender ‘samurai’ chicken wings or pricey Hirata buns. Skip the beautiful but bland desserts, and experiment with the lengthy saké list. Read more
- Jen LiangJune 30, 2017Ramen and stock was tasty. This mini box was a tasty. snack.. And they have happy hour.
- Betony KellyJanuary 4, 2015Very hard not to over-order here... But who cares. Don't question your greed and get stuck into the steamed pork buns and delicious spicy ramen...
- Naki NakJanuary 3, 2015Traditional ramen ok, no choice as to how you like your noodles cooked, nor are there any condiments (pickled ginger etc) and one piece of pork in the dish. sitting at the bar is very loud!
- Ankur BanerjeeJanuary 15, 2015Shout (okay, maybe not) "kaedama" and they'll bring over another round of ramen; make sure you have enough of the soup left to add the ramen to!
- Gui SeizOctober 24, 2014So slow. 15 minutes avg to make a cocktail. Although I'm putting it down to 'just opened' syndrome. - pork buns are ridic. NYC branch still the best one.
- AditiDecember 31, 2018Go to Kanada ya if you want great ramen, come here if you want comfort and dank pork buns
- Miti ROctober 31, 2017The ramen was fine. However the tall male east asian staff was impolite and impatient with no courtesy especially with the service charge included.
- Brad TOctober 27, 2014Not a ramen expert but this was some of the best I've had. The ramen expert across from me concurs.
- WEI WEIFebruary 24, 2015I'm a big fan and regular of Ippudo NY. Sorry to say Ippudo London hasn't done some crucial things right.
- Get the chicken bun and the modern noodles. Both amazing.
- Esteban LeeOctober 14, 2017I went Ippudo with a very high expectations. But I found it quite disappointing. The classic ramen was way too greasy in both flavor and bouquet. Not appetizing visually either...
