Incredible selection of craft beer, and also everything else. That said, it makes Whole Foods feel like a bargain.- Fresh, organic fruits & veggies, wonderful array of cheeses, white truffle olive oil & the best part, cheaper than Whole Foods.
The deli in the back is the best quality I've found in NYC. Sometimes there is slow a line, but it's good food and the guys are very friendly.

- Best lunch combo deal around Astor place. Main + 2 sides = $10. huge portions, tons of selection.
Skip the line at Trader Joe's and go to West Side instead - Fresh Produce, Great Prepared Foods Bar and No line!- This grocery store never ceases to blow my mind. The huge selection! The low prices! The freshness! THE CHEESE SAMPLES.

Great place to grab a relatively inexpensive lunch from the deli
They have great takeaway food for a quick and cheap dinner.
The sandwich bar has about 80 options. I didn't realize I could love a grocery store this much.
