Originally completed in 1886, for the Dept. of Docks and the Harbor Police, the Pier was expanded and remodeled over the years. This photo was taken before the 1919 addition of the WWI Memorial Clock.

Giant beer hall with a great view, provided you don't mind the location and tourist taxes you have to pay, you'll like this place.

Great place. Beer selection is great. And of course, the oysters. Brunch is really great too! This place is going to be amazing in the warm weather!

This maritime building has been closed to the public for the past 127 years. Now it's a 28,000 sq.ft. beer hall, the length of a football field!
Great spot to watch the sunset with a drink, though dogs are no longer allowed on the pier.

The steamed clams with white wine & bacon broth is amazing!! Skip the Manhattan clam chowder it's basically tomato broth!

Great for groups rain or shine and somehow not a tourist trap (regarding pricing and patrons) yet! Outdoors is dog friendly.

Food is meh but sunsets are great here. Enjoy a drink outside while watching the sunset.
