Originally completed in 1886, for the Dept. of Docks and the Harbor Police, the Pier was expanded and remodeled over the years. This photo was taken before the 1919 addition of the WWI Memorial Clock.

Take a look around New York's newest sea-themed jewel, housed in a newly restored 128-year-old pier building. The Harbor house is NYC's newest beer hall and restaurant megaplex. Read more

Great outdoor seating and scenic views of the Statue of Liberty. Also has a nice breeze on really hot sunny days. Service is a little slow but it's a great day drinking spot.

Sweet new spot for summer 2015 with plenty of outdoor seating. Giant beer hall with a great view, provided you don't mind the location and tourist taxes you have to pay, you'll like this place.

This sprawling beer hall & patio is perfect for a summer afternoon - post up with fresh seafood towers and sliders and stay long enough to catch the sunset over the Statue of Liberty.

Several house cocktails, such as the Clock Tower Sour and the Lazarus, were punch-bowl sweet, but the gingery Dark and Stormy on tap had some razzmatazz. Read more

Literally stab me with a fork, I’d rather go ANYWHERE else on a beautiful sun-filled Saturday. Food is fine, but the people... my god. Finance bros and their female counterparts gather in droves here.

This place is okay if you just wandered through the financial district and are looking for a place to have a pit stop before walking up the west side highway. Nice beer selection!

Located all the way at the very tip of Lower Manhattan, you can hit Happy Hour with outdoor seating and views of the Statue of Liberty. Go early because it gets crowded - but it's worth the wait.

Great new spot with incredible views. Sure, a lot of tourists, but many locals as well. The sliders are great, and they have multiple IPAs on tap. Not a bad way to spend a weekend afternoon

Great space. Very odd beer selection. With go full German beer garden and only have imports, or do a variety of American craft beers. Trying to do both doesn't work.

So besides having a killer view along the water, this place is awful. The wait staff is really slow. I was here for 30 min and got exactly 0 beers. Your best bet is to show up early when it's slow.

Definite one of the best bars downtown. Lots of terrace space and inside space, good food and great selection of beer, cocktails and wine.

Great spot for outdoor drinks in warm weather. Now all tables are a free-for-all and you order at an inside queue. And there’s a new express beer and wine stand outside

Wow! This maritime beer hall ranges over the whole pier. The sea food is fresh and tasty. Try the oysters and enjoy the fantastic view on the Hudson and Liberty Island.

Great spot for drinks - especially when the weather is warm! If you're at Pier A and want a bite to eat, head upstairs to black tail where you will not be disappointed.

Great water views and outdoor area. Huge venue too! Apps were decent, a little pricey but someone's gotta pay the rent for that huge space.
