Cruffin and feature donut flavors are announced on Instagram and Facebook on a weekly basis. There is 1 cruffin flavor and 2-3 donut flavors a day. 2 cruffins per person limit :)

Mr. Holmes Bakehouse is serving both creative and classic baked goods. Try the soon-to-be classic California Croissant, which is a croissant stuffed with salmon, nori, ginger, and wasabi. Read more

Try anything. You won't be disappointed. For cruffjns, get there before 8:25. Go with a friend. There are two lines here. One for cruffins, one for everything else.

The line for said cruffins begins assembling early in the morning, as Mr. Holmes only sells a limited number each day. Its other pastries are accessible without enduring the cruffin line. Read more

Home of the cruffin! Get here early, and wait in the long line and hope to get a sticker for a cruffin. If not, go to the short line and get other pastries - the donuts here are our SF favorite!

While different than a cronut, Mr. Holmes' cruffin (combination of a croissant and muffin) draws similarities to the pastry made famous in New York City and demands its own line with a cult following.

Worth the instagram hype, the bostock pastry was to die for. I can’t stop scouring my hometown for a bakery that can make one half as delicious

Such good pastries!! I had the shiitake and cheese so good. Take a pic of the neon sign in the shop. Give the cold drip coffee a miss.

If you want the Cronuts, you have to get there early. If you are late, the Croissants are also excellent!

Passable croissants & good chocolate chip cookies. They tend to put lime & lemon essence on most of their donuts/pastries. This place is highly overrated; not bad but Arsicault is levels above.

While the branding is cute and store staff so nice, I am just not a fan of the crispy (overcooked), sugar-crusted non-croissant cruffin gimmick. The line is just hype. Flour + Co on Hyde = way better.
