- Time Out New YorkJuly 18, 2018This noodle house keeps a huge swath of uptown—everyone between 107th and 145th Streets between Riverside Drive and Central Park West, to be exact—sated with its handmade Hakata-style ramen. Read more
- Lyndsie HarrisJanuary 22, 2017I got the Thai green curry ramen. So rich and the noodles are amazing. The pork soft boiled egg does not disappoint. My husband got the spicy tonkatsu ramen. Amazing.
- Christina ChinApril 19, 2015If you go early around 6, no wait but it's also family hour as it was mostly uwsiders with their kids. Pork buns were good but still like ippudos better. Ramen also very good
- I'm so glad this is now closer to work. This location has great soba and donburi, if for some reason you don't want the excellent ramen. The kakuni ramen with Filipino style pork is amazing.
- Kristine MichelleSeptember 21, 2020i have an allergy to one of their specialty noodles, but i have had their donburi bowls and they are de.li.cious! my personal favorite is the sukiyaki don!
- Ernesto GutierrezNovember 8, 2019The dragon tonkatsu is the way to go for those who enjoy spicy ramen. The broth is full of flavor without being too heavy. Pork ration is small (2 slices) so get an extra topping.
- Stephanie DeDeckerDecember 26, 2017The Green Thai Coconut Curry Ramen was delicious. Perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Be sure to also try the chicken buns!
- Jing Jing LiNovember 4, 2017Spicy Tonkotsu. The broth was a little thick for my taste, but I really liked the addition of shishito peppers, and the spicy sauce on the side
- Kaitlin NelsonMay 2, 2017Super friendly staff! Gyoza was very salty, BUT the cold soba was delicious and one of the most beautiful dishes I've ever seen.
- Amy TruexJanuary 24, 2019Great service, waitstaff helpful with the menu and offering suggestions, good ambience & music, easy place to enjoy a tasty meal and catch up with friends.
- Alexa SternJuly 30, 2017Fast, very clean, high quality food. Not the best ramen I've ever had but very solid! Tasty broth - not oily
- Amanda WilliamsJune 6, 2016Excellent Ramen with Miso being my favorite! The pork buns are the best starter and they also have a great sweet katsu curry.
- Matthew FergusonNovember 8, 2020The ramen is outstanding. They even have a New York State Pinot noir that was delicious. I always appreciate local wine!
- A very children friendly Japanese restaurant, their ramen broth is not too salty and can be made with even salt in it.
- HectorDecember 21, 2015Spicy tonkatsu ramen with some pork buns. Less cozy than the 125th street location. If you order delivery be prepared for a very long wait.
- Jacob AronoffJune 24, 2018Their ramen was pretty good. I had the vegan coconut curry ramen, which was very tasty.
- Match ThisflySeptember 13, 2015The pork broth is not playing around. We made the mistake of asking for the less salt version. If you need to lower your salt intake, do it everywhere but here. Low salt ramen just isn't right!
- The secret is the rice bowl- tuna Yukke don is not to be missed.
- Elena UbmoAugust 1, 2015Kakuni Ramen, Miso Ramen, Brisket Rice Bowl, Ikura & Salmon Cold Soba and Hijiki
- Tonkatsu is great, tried the spicy but always go back to the original
- Cherry CokeMarch 29, 2015Get the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen: while pork isn't consistent (sometimes dry, sometimes mangled, sometimes dry and mangled), the flavor is.
- Flora ChengJune 12, 2017I got the shoyu ramen (asked for less salty) and it was ok. I was not impressed with the broth, but the pork topping was really good. The pork buns were great.
- Andy GrossmanNovember 10, 2019Delicious food, good music, relaxed atmosphere and an unreal level of service. Top spot.
- HankJanuary 10, 2016The Ramen noodles are excellent. Skimpy on the pork. Why is an added side marked spicy but is anything but?
- Match ThisflySeptember 13, 2015Don't go low-salt with the ramen, just order something else. We plan to order a rice bowl next visit. Really cute decor!
- Michael Fox-RabinovitzFebruary 6, 2016Quite tasty pork buns, great pork Ramen with broth, and green tea is pleasant
- Recommend the miso or the spicy tonkatsu for anyone interested in spicy ramen
- Curtis ShoungNovember 26, 2015Get the curly noodles. Thicker. It's pretty good. Soup base isn't as deep as other top tier ramen spots but a solid bowl.
- Arielle MDecember 30, 2015The vegetable with mushroom broth is amazing. Most flavorful ramen I have had in awhile
- Kristina RudicSeptember 4, 2017This place is amazing. Sit at the bar for a wonderful chat with the bartender!
- Sameepa ShettyApril 8, 2016Try all the apps, ramen is good but check what type of chicken they're serving you. Crab meat is fake!! Stay away. But good vibes overall.
- Charlotte ChanJune 14, 2016Ramen is obviously awesome but the mushroom and burdock appetizers are delightful!
- Peter ToSeptember 28, 2016Kakuni Ramen is severely overrated. It's served in a large diameter bowl, which serves to quicken the cooling process and turns the oily broth into a slimy mess and the large chuck of meat inedible.
