I've been to Xi'an and simply going to this restaurant takes me back there. This time: lamb "burger" loved it nice spice & concubine's chicken. The chicken was perfectly juicy. Be careful of bones!

I'm not a huge spicy fan or lamb fan but after so many reviews I had to try. dish really spicy even when you ask for least spicy as possible! Spicy and lamb lovers will like this dish.

Great hand made noodles! Chewy and tender. Lots of lamb options, can get different levels of spice. The soft tofu is amazing though, smooth as silk!

First time here? Order the Pork “Zha Jiang” Noodles - wide hand-ripped biangbiang noodles mixed w/ a savory & slightly-sweet ground pork meat sauce, tossed w/ cucumbers, scallions, celery & chives.

Yum! Sizzle! Awesome eats from NW China known for its spicy food and numbing oils. 6+ vegetarian dishes, try the hot spicy oil noodles made with delicious thick and wide noodles, eats like a meal.

Spicy cumin lamb noodles are excellent, or try the cold skin noodles if you want something different. Fair warning: Spicy is actually spicy, go for mild if you need "wimpy white people spicy".

this location of xi'an sets a new bar for what the NYC chain will look like, I suspect. ample seating, wide open kitchen, feels like McDonald's but with flavor and integrity,

Better to go on off hours and avoid the crazy lines. Can't choose wrong with anything but I can't go without ordering lamb cumin noodles (and hope someone else orders something new)

The spicy lamb cumin noodles are delicious. Even the lowest level of spice is pretty spicy so be conservative. They don't take Amex.

Take lots of napkins. Bring a metal fork if you can. The hand-ripped noodles can leave quite a mess on your shirt. They are elastic. Combined with the cheap plastic fork, you'll end up with oil on you

Don't sleep on the terrific oxtail noodle soup. They get the meat really tender, and it is perfectly spicy.

I used to love the food but last visit was not good. Got pork noodle soup and it had zero flavor. Also not a fan of piping hot liquid being served in plastic. Plus their prices went up. Disappointed.
