Very delicious American tacos. Been here multiple times. Great service and cool places to sit on second floor. My favorite is the raw tuna taco. Not a top taco place for me because it isn't authentic.
If you want comfort food, order grilled steak taco with crunchy slaw. If you favor the spice, opt for the tikkataco. Added on the margarita for good measure!
The chicken tikka tacos are my favorite, with the falafeltacos not far behind! Lots of space and great for groups, and a decent local beer selection too. What more could you want from a taco place?
Get the standards before you go for the specials. Korean fried ricetaco was bangin, as was the chicken tikka (like everyone says). Gets a little sketch around bar-close time
GREAT & unique tacos, decent size, 2 are enough for most people. The shrimp & gritstaco, and the chicken & waffletacos are VERY good. The pre-mix margaritas are terrible. Red velvet cake is yummy.
Taco heaven! Choices range from vegetarian, healthy (tacos w/crispy lettuce instead of tortillas), Indian flavored, bbq, tunapoke style, seafood etc. & $10 roasted chicken specials on Mondays!👍
The Elote corn, Cuban pig were great. Would skip the tikkachicken taco. They have local craft beers and fun drinks. The seating isn’t the most comfortable, it’s social & makes for a great quick meal
An unlikely delight. From the outside and inside, it looks like an underdeveloped restaurant concept, which appears to be rather intentional. It’s a little off, it’s a little odd, it’s a lot of good.
This isn't your average taco joint. Choose from a list of 21 different tacos and always try the Taco of the Week. Got a sweet tooth, too? Grab a square of Red Velvet Cake to share on the walk home.
I really enjoyed the shrimp and grits taco! The rotisserie chicken taco could have had a little more seasoning. Margs are also not too sweet just right!
For something different, try the ahi poke. The grilled flank steak is also delicious. Share the loaded tots and egg. It's a lot for one person to handle.
This isn't your regular taco joint. Choose from a list of 21 different tacos and always try the Taco of the Week. Got a sweet tooth, too? Grab a square of Red Velvet Cake to share on the walk home.
Velvet Taco isn't another drunk food stop, but rather a thoughtful restaurant doling out well-executed Indian, American, Cuban, Asian and Middle-Eastern staples that happen to be served on a tortilla. Read more
A very small local taco joint. But I wouldn't call it an authentic taco shop though. The tacos were tasty and the place looks like a taco version of Five-Guys.
