Real, spit-roasted Al Pastor! I'm floored. I can't recommend it enough. I also had the carnitas, which was legit, and the grilled chicken actually was crispy and grilled. I'll be coming back this week
Marc MayerApril 20, 2016The freshest tortillas in Park Slope make Varrio 408 the best taco spot in the area. Sometimes you'll have to wait a little bit due to the tons of delivery orders, but stick around. It's worth it.
ShellyMay 30, 2015Close 2nd to Los Tacos I in the Chelsea Market. Carnitas are melt in y0ur mouth, cooked in big kettle, and the Al Pastor are almost on par with the Adobada at Los Tacos I. Tortillas made on site.

Tried the pollo, carnitas, and pastor tacos. The pastor was a clear winner; some of the best I’ve had in the city.
Fresh tortillas pressed in front of you. Shrimp tacos, guac, watermelon juice, boom. And a salsa bar.
Not bad! Nopalitos (cactus) and Al Pastor with pineapple are tasty. Salsa bar with good variety.
