- Real, spit-roasted Al Pastor! I'm floored. I can't recommend it enough. I also had the carnitas, which was legit, and the grilled chicken actually was crispy and grilled. I'll be coming back this week
- Marc MayerApril 20, 2016The freshest tortillas in Park Slope make Varrio 408 the best taco spot in the area. Sometimes you'll have to wait a little bit due to the tons of delivery orders, but stick around. It's worth it.
- ShellyMay 30, 2015Close 2nd to Los Tacos I in the Chelsea Market. Carnitas are melt in y0ur mouth, cooked in big kettle, and the Al Pastor are almost on par with the Adobada at Los Tacos I. Tortillas made on site.
- James RemeikaFebruary 17, 2016The carnitas tacos are mind-blowing. This place has the best tortillas I've ever had. Vegitarian a should order a quesadilla; other options are questionable.
- Chris RobinsonFebruary 1, 2016The mulas al pastor are grrrrreat and a steal at only $4 (at the time of writing). Actual, full-bodied, flavorful Mexican food, with a salsa bar to boot. Extra points for the piñatas!
- Curtis ShoungAugust 22, 2016Carnitas are legit. Best Mexican food I've found since moving here from Cali. Homemade tortillas too.
- Ray LinJune 19, 2015Try the tacos Al Pastor. It's sweet and flavorful at $3 a pop. Also look out for their Daily Specials.
- Dane BJuly 6, 2015I'd put their tacos (particularly the al pastor and carnitas) up against any place in Sunset Park.
- Joy ChenSeptember 25, 2016Best tacos around, with a loaded salsa bar to boot. Bring friends and order family-style for a great value.
- If you care about delicious tacos and delicious tortillas and delicious everything... This is not a place to miss.
- monydfnyApril 23, 2017Tacos de carnitas are really good. Just ask them to drain the oil a bit. Best carnitas in Brooklyn.
- HolidayMay 27, 2016Killer tacos. Cheap, casual and quick. Serious salsa bar. Amazing pork tacos. Yum. Even vegetarian options for husband.
- Sean SmithOctober 4, 2015The 'family style' portions are very generous and a great deal. The slow cooked pork in particular was delicious.
- Colin M. FordAugust 31, 2018Family platter is a great deal, tortillas made in-house, lots of seating
- Joe LearmanJanuary 27, 2018The al pastor is bonkers! It’s annoying that 3 tacos, chips, and a beer will set you back over $20, but welcome to the only good Mexican food in park slope (yeah, you heard me calexico)
- Dan UbillaMarch 16, 2015Probably the best tacos in Park Slope. Get a mix of tacos, but make sure one of those is carnitas.
- Tried the pollo, carnitas, and pastor tacos. The pastor was a clear winner; some of the best I’ve had in the city.
- Fresh tortillas pressed in front of you. Shrimp tacos, guac, watermelon juice, boom. And a salsa bar.
- Not bad! Nopalitos (cactus) and Al Pastor with pineapple are tasty. Salsa bar with good variety.
- David HoltzJanuary 3, 2017Feels like a taqueria in San Francisco! Tacos were good, albeit about 3x more expensive than comparable tacos on the West Coast...
- Kodi McKinneyJuly 16, 2018This is the most Cali-feeling Mex place I’ve been to in Brooklyn. The guacamole is what puts them over the edge.
- Erin Schulte CollierApril 2, 2016Al pastor tacos with pineapple salsa, bottle of coke. Amazing fresh salsa bar.
- Greg ThomasJanuary 13, 2016Homemade tortillas and great flavor. Really enjoyed these tacos. They could be a bit cheaper, but it's not terribly overpriced when looking at similar taquerias.
- Brandon ChhinJune 15, 2017Carnitas anything, handmade tortillas like in San Diego. Don't bother with carne asada or fish.
- Jess MireauApril 25, 2016Rachel's part 2? The family style is great for having friends over when you don't wanna cook.
- DrewskiOctober 30, 2016Carnitas taco was good, but the chicken was bland, guac was just okay, and they had no sauce/salsa with any spice.
