This swank Basque joint has the bonus of The Bon Vivants on drink duty, whipping up concoctions like gin and tonics on tap, Basque cider and Irish whiskey combos, and sherry a-go-go. Read more

The small plates were fabulous. We tried some dishes I'd never had before and they were so good. The service was impeccable and she was great at ordering just enough of everything for our large party

Get seated at the counter if you can because you get a view of the chefs at work as well as the expediter checking and adding final touches to every dish before they are served!

Holy cow, this place is great! Pros: killer tasting small plates, a big gin and tonic menu, and open after 10. Cons: they badly need sound dampening! Yikes.

Happy hour specials. 5:30-6:30pm daily. Basque-inspired bites like chorizo deviled eggs, boquerones on toast with mojo verde, and jamon and squash croquetas for $1 each.

Solid bravas. However, as a San Sebastián devotee I wanted to love this place. I'd love to see more pintxos, and less San Francisco.

If they have a tasting menu available for tapas, try it. You won't be disappointed.

Gambas, Spanish fried rice (their take on a paella, served in a hot iron dish), and the pinxtos sampler was great!

The duck and figs terrina was great, perfect pairing for a nice full bodied red wine

Add a Pintxos flight for variety. The octopus salad is a standout. Book the chef's table if you like to watch.

Great tapas, though perhaps not truly authentic (I don't think they add kale to tortillas in the motherland).

The pinxtos with garlic aioli and sardine is the best bite. Also...that fried rice. 😻😻

Stick with it the small dishes. Meal started out with a bang but quickly began to disappoint. Extremely loud. Pricey.
