Pao di quiejo (pdq) which is a puffed bready, lightly eggy and cheesy ball of deliciousness must be tried. And the heart of palm mini empanadas (empadinha) is really good too.

This place is the real deal!! Their coffee is excellent but that only the tip of the iceberg. From the PDQ to their way above average aćai bowl this is an UES gem. Very much recommended to all!

These innocent-looking rolls are Brazilian cheese bread, a magical balance of fluffy, eggy and cheesy. Get one (or five) plain or amped up as a ham and queso sandwich. Read more

Macchiato & whole wheat pear bread, perfectly sweet. Not too much and not too little. Lots to choose from. Tip: Great if you're visiting NY Presbyterian Cornell Hospital and need a break.

$3usd for this small piece of Pao de Queijo (Brazilian cheese bread) but it's yummy! Chewy and fragrant. Worth a try!

We’ll take any excuse to eat jelly doughnuts, but Padoca's powdered-sugar-dusted, raspberry-filled sufganiyot are perfection—and they’re only available for eight short days (December 24 to January 1). Read more

Brazilian stuffed cheese-rolls (pao-de-queijo), empadas, guaraná, nice environment but don't expect a Brazilian-like padaria!

Delicious, creative pastries and quality coffee (iced & hot). A bit pricey. Ok, it's expensive. 💁🏼
