In the back of Cala, off the alley, you'll find Tacos Cala. Authentic Mexico City-style tacos with a bit of a gourmet twist. I typically hate fancy tacos, but this place is on point.

Go for the handmade tortilla, pollo, and salsa roja. If you’re really in the mood to load up on tacos though, head elsewhere as the Cala prices will prevent you from doing so

I really liked the Chipotle Chicken and Braised Greens / Mushroom tacos. The salsas are fab too (especially the Verde.)

Of two minds about the place. On the one hand, it's nice to have some tacos guisandos options. On the other hand these are all just okay rather than truly great and some are ridiculously overpriced.

Get your fork and knife ready because the huevos is heavy for a soft tortilla. Pork and greens is a better experience for the hand-held-taco.
