Awesome place and lot of fun. Very relaxed staff and the little dock area is cute and themed well. Bring food, they let you use the grills for free!!

For those who were familiar with Jack's, the process is different: you pay at the end, which can take a while, and the waiver is a bit more intensive.

On the 4th of July, grab some picnic foods from Eastern market & rent a kayak for the best view of the fireworks.

It was a nicer when it was still Jack's Boathouse, before the NPS took over, even though they lowered the prices by a dollar or two. Still good place to get a kayak and stroll down the Potomac.

Kayaking around 3-4 pm on a August day was perfect! It wasn't too hot and wasn't crowed!

One of my face places in DC! $12/hr, can paddle around teddy Roosevelt island and by Gtown harbor or just float along and chat with the girls! Great ambience at jack's.

It is underneath the highway. There is a big staircase heading down to the water, and if you go too far there is another one that is tiny and hidden.

Под мостом есть прокат каяков! 20 долларов за час. Есть ящики для одежды. Лучше переодеваться. Обязательно на мокнете )))
