Wow! You can really get lost here as there are so many staircases and turns. There's also a 6th level with restaurants that have a great view of the Padang. Free entrance for local residents.

Torzin SDecember 10, 2015Nice architecture, the layout design for museum is horrible with many stairs, the art of Southeast asia is mix and match and lack of theme. Many good collection but bad organize.
So much space but not so much art. They could use their space better. The visitor navigation through the museum could be better. The text in the art description boards are too small and hard to read.
- Jess ThiaDecember 4, 2016Alternative, even cheaper food & drinks at Peninsula Plaza basement 1, a few mins walk along artistic sheltered walkway (with bling bling flooring at night). No shelter at the traffic light crossing.
- Tired? No problem. There's seating around the gallery made from refurbished Supreme Court chairs.

Amazing building, great exhibition, free rooftop terrace viewing spot, bars and cafes! Outstanding!- The Former Supreme Court building of the soon-to-be opened NGS is built on the site of the demolished Grand Hotel de l'Europe. It is slated to house/exhibit works by Asian artists.
