- MonaDecember 10, 2015This is the place to go for ramen! My second time trying since going to the original branch. Worth the wait! Packs flavour, very moreish and filling! My favourite in London! Try the chicken side also!
- The vegetarian ramen is immense. The porcini broth is thicker than any Tonkotsu you'll ever have, and the asparagus and side of avocado are perfect. Add an egg—but note the eggs are NOT vegetarian
- IfeoluwaDecember 7, 2017I got the truffle ramen and my friend got the Tonkotsu X. Both were flavorful & delicious but I don’t think the v mild truffle flavor was worth the extra £ for the former. Get the egg as an extra.
- Roberto BuaAugust 21, 2017Best place in London for Tonkotsu ramen: rich and creamy pork bone broth with an intense meaty flavour. Their truffle ramen (picture here) was the true definition of comfort food!
- Clara EloyJune 20, 2022Wow. Loved the truffle ramen, a very nice change from traditional ramen and full of flavour. The rest of the ramen was great too
- Fabian MartinJune 20, 2022I’ve been to a Kanada-Ya a few years back and remember really enjoying the truffle ramen but today I had it again and it was meh. Too truffle-y not enough of the ramen taste I expected. Wouldn’t rec
- Keipep SatukNovember 12, 2018Truffle Ramen was delicious, add chashu eggs. And if you like it spicy, add the (free) spicy seaweed readily available on the table. The chili oil/chilli flakes were not spicy enough 😊
- EddJuly 16, 2016They live up to the hype. Tonkotsu-X has a pork and chicken broth and it's so god damn delicious I want to enshrine my ramen. (Eggs sold separately)
- Daniel El TitiMarch 31, 2017although I'm not a vegetarian, I did loved the veg broth so much. Super delicious ramen. And try the truffle Edamame - big surprise.
- Cheryl YeApril 16, 2018Whilst I understand ramen is predominantly pork based, Kanada-ya’s veggie option didn’t impress me like. Come if you’re a meat eater, otherwise, I recommended shoyru instead
- Charlene Yyin 💕November 30, 2017Try the truffle ramen! Its scrumptious! Beware of the cup which they use to fill water sometimes is not clean and you might need to request to change!
- Shannon LowMarch 31, 2018Excellent ramen, just as good as the original outlet. Tonkotsu is the best, tonkotsu x is pretty good too. Garlic sauce is a good add-on.
- j.manaOctober 28, 2016Tried something different, and it was gooooooood. :) if you're a fan of truffles, try their truffle ramen! unique :)
- Spicy yuzu was better than expected. The sour and spicy broth was well balanced.
- Andrew David AlexanderSeptember 7, 2017Broth a bit salty but if you don't buy every product with the lowest amount of sodium possible (as I do) then it's hecking delicious.
- Michael WozniakNovember 6, 2016Amazing food. Make sure to try the truffle starter. All the ramen noodles were super tasty. (It does feel a tad bit expensive though.)
- Stavroula KonidariNovember 18, 2016Truffle ramen + egg were delicious. Try the peach and citrus sake. You won't believe they're alcoholic. Unfortunately it's terribly hot and tight seating. Dress light. Be slim :(
- Kry StianDecember 19, 2015Genuine Japanese Ramen, very tasty and great for lunch or quick dinner. Original ramen with pork and extra hard noodles is amazing.
- Abigail OuthwaiteJune 4, 2022Try the soupless ramen for something different - abura soba. Well worth it.
- Always a bit stressful to get in, but the ramen is my favourite in London. I like the noodles soft, the other options are just too raw.
- The best ramen in London, but I hate the enforced tip. Just charge more and pay your employees more. Japanese restaurants shouldn't have tipping culture.
- Andy PinkerJuly 21, 2017Really nice food and a friendly vibe with chill out music. The ramen dishes are lovely and pretty reasonable for London
- Jenya SJune 22, 2016Both Truffle ramen and Gekikara were good. Although some may find Gekikara too spicy (not me!). Didn't care much for their Karaage, but Aburi chashu was delish.
- Hi ShimizuSeptember 23, 2016I believe this is the most authentic Japanese ramen you can get in London, I would definitely recommend it from Japanese point of view!
- JoannaMay 25, 20173 words: GET THE EGG. Speaking as a regular ramen eater, Tonkotsu X broth was mind blowing. Definitely come here
- Joyce ChanNovember 5, 2016Ramen!! Although I haven't had the rice options, the ramen is so good I pretty much would trust anything in their menu!
- Aylla AssisJune 13, 2017One of the best ramen in London. Really tasty Tonkotsu. The truffle edamame is also amazing.
- Kieran LarkinJune 6, 2018V good ramen, good heat to the spicy variations. Food comes quickly too so good if you’re pushed for time
- Álex TorresJanuary 29, 2022The Truffle ramen is probably one of the best ramen I've ever have. Totally worth the price
- Celina HowDecember 24, 2017Get the karaage (fried chicken). Although you do have to be patient and queue up for them.
- Alex HernJanuary 20, 2016The Karaage is pricey for a side, but the four delicious pieces of crunchy fried chicken are worth it.
- Tam PAugust 7, 2016This is one of the best ramen places in London, the tonkotsu is sooo tasty! Great ramen!
- MaríaApril 5, 2016Truffle edamame? Calpico? Veggie ramen? Bring them all on! Really impressed, this ramen is out of this world.
- Eman AbdulazizSeptember 1, 2017I wouldn't recommend it at all especially for those who have tried the original ramen taste in its country. Only those who had tried it would understand what I mean.
- Ramen, ramen, and thrice I say ramen. PS: also spicy ramen. And add an egg!
- Christa HoeglerOctober 12, 2016I really wanted to love you, Kanada-Ya, but as a New Yorker who has tried some of the greatest hits of ramen, this doesn't even compare. 😩
- JamenDecember 8, 2018Food is great, but wait staff don’t seem to be too keen to turn tables over. Massive queue outside and there are empty tables and tables of four that could be split into two two’s.
