- Matthew SpectorJanuary 1, 2016The La Paloma frozen margarita with peppercorns is a favorite, as are the tot-chos (tater tot nachos) and the al pastor tacos. Lots of lime and a ton of fun - with brunch & lunch service coming 2016.
- David SteinbergerJune 14, 2016Amazing tacos. Loved Mexican Coke short ribs and tac-o-fella (fried oyster). Guacamole is mix-it-yourself. Warning for cilantro-haters: lots of cilantro on the tacos, but they'll happily take it off.Upvoted Feb 19
- RandallJuly 5, 2016If you order the guacamole, add the red pepper slowly and taste it as you mix it in. I added it all at once and it proved to be one of the spiciest I've ever eaten.
- Awesome bottomless brunch in UWS. It's $16 with purchase of anything - try the sangria and it's still worth it to get a frozen Paloma on the side 🥂
- DoubleDeuceMarch 22, 2018In my first trip here, I never had an empty bottomless drink. Great/scary as that is. Ha! The food was solid and the movie-theater-themed basement was charming. Get a rezzy, bring your amigos.
- While the service was just okay, the food made up for it - I had the Baja fish taco, Southern Girl taco, Mexican corn & guac. Next time I want to try the queso & churro ice cream sandwich!
- Giulia PratiJanuary 17, 2016Festive vibes! 🤗 very cool beach-side, surf inspired decor. Definitely recommend the churro ice cream sandwich for dessert. Indulgent menu options (the QUESO) balanced out by the tasty "dharma" bowls
- Heather PommernelleNovember 1, 2019The Frozen Palomas - nice, crisp & different taste (yes, the grapefruit) that’s just yummy. Ahi & Baja tacos, good. The guacamole & shroom taco were awesome 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼
- Cagla IcacanJune 16, 2019Al pastor, Baja fish tacos are delicious. Add a few drops of Valentina Hot Sauce. Try corn and Cauliflower Buffalo bites as side. Pair with a pitcher of Margarita. Voila!
- Adrienne CooperAugust 30, 2020They've done a great job with the outdoor setup here. Always a solid option on a nice day on the Upper West Side
- David ElizandroDecember 28, 2015Tacos were great and as a displaced Texan I absolutely loved the queso. Beers were a bit pricey at $8 for drafts but overall a very welcome addition to the UWS.
- Good tacos and atmosphere. Really loved the diy guacamole where they give you different ingredients to add in like pomegranate seeds, jalapeños, tomatoes, and more!
- Ms HeleneMay 2, 2017Guac with toppings separately so you can customize and good queso. Ok seared tuna tacos drowned in sauce. Fun atmosphere and service
- Allison KasicApril 23, 2017PSA: the carne asada tacos come covered in guac, even though that isn't listed as one of the ingredients.
- George EscandonDecember 31, 2015Baja tacos are great. Also enjoyed the betty marg and La Paloma frozen marg. Definitely pricey for what it is. Expect to pay about $30 pp.
- Tacos are pretty good and spicy margarita is solid. Skip burrito and enchiladas; very bland.
- E DSeptember 30, 2019Totchos are the best!! Queso is delicious too. Definitely get the frozen Paloma
- AlejandroMarch 27, 2016Strong cocktails. Don't miss the nachos from this place, their sauces are perfect!
- Mike NickersonMay 27, 2016Love the selection of non-traditional tacos! Highly recommend the fried oyster taco.
- Baja taco was awesome! Overall a little bit pricey for what you get (mostly referring to tacos) but to be expected for the area.
- Andrew StellaDecember 30, 2015Great food and atmosphere but too expensive for Mexican beach food and margaritas in highball glasses.
- Andy ChapmanFebruary 5, 2016Pretty good tacos, it's loud and a little on $ side. Get Marley taco (jerk chicken) and guac to start
- Samantha TaubeMay 4, 2016Tacos, corn and guac were yummy but the service left A LOT to be desired. Seating was dirty, wait staff was not attentive, and the kitchen was disorganized. Overall, needs some work.
- Christina ChinFebruary 27, 2022Really crowded and loud fri night. Had to shout..but tacos were fine, like the Al pastor best
- Weekend brunch is the time to go; chorizo, potato and egg taco - get it!
- Will HarahanMay 23, 2019Friendly service, ok tacos, asterisks regarding the happy hour menu (margaritas).
- MikeySeptember 26, 2017Visited this past saturday night with a group of friends. Vibes are nice, but food and drinks are poor. DO NOT order enchilladas , quesadilla, or any fish or steak tacos - they are DRY and tasteless!
- Cool vibe and open layout but overpriced beers. They were also out of 3 of their 8 taco options.
- Jeff SolomonAugust 20, 2017Jalapeño margarita. Guac needs salt and/or lime to be better, but still decent.
- Karen SterlingMarch 26, 2016$5 dollar taco's with so little meat and a couple beers left me with a $65 dollar bill and still hungry, disappointed and insulted. I really want this place to work but the staff needs to check back.
- rob zandJanuary 16, 2016they do not have enough high chairs to accommodate the uws on a late Saturday afternoon
- Annie HungMarch 5, 2017Awful food, awful service. Place wasn't even full and we waited nearly an hour for our food which then arrived cold. It was disappointingly mediocre given it was a $16 burrito. Never returning.
- Harris SokoloffJanuary 17, 2016Whole Chicken was good but ask for no tin foil as it ends up in your food.
- 4-8pm happy hour deals - except on (Taco) Tuesday. $5beer. $12 Paloma.
