- Weixi ZengJune 25, 2016authentic shanghai noodles and dim sum! Some of the waiting staff seem slow and don't know what they're doing. They tend to be more friendly to guests who doesn't look like Chinese. 🤔
- Beautifully delicate, authentic Shanghainese and Sichuan dishes. Highly recommend the spicy fish stew, wood ear mushrooms, spicy mung bean jelly, dan dan noodles, claypot dumplings. Rustic chic decor.
- Ashley ChenSeptember 21, 2016Can't go wrong w the cold dishes, and make sure to order the sticky rice dumplings! Didn't get to try the noodles though; the waiter forgot to put the order in (even after we asked for it 3 times)
- SarahDecember 27, 2016Amazing new spot in the Village. Please be advised that there is usually an hour+ wait for dinner - recommend one group member your name down & then take a detour to "the happiest hour" for drinks.
- emily chenAugust 27, 2016Super solid, high quality, authentic chinese. Get the wood ear mushrooms, chives w clam, minced beef noodles, fried dumplings, mala fish stew, sticky rice dim sum, and the soy dessert!

- Evonne CAugust 5, 2016The fare is delicious- the best I've had in NYC bar none. The tea is excellent. They have afternoon tea service -perfect for a midday tea respite. The decor is soothing natural and sophisticated.
- Bean curds in chili oil, braised meatballs, Dan Dan noodles are delicious. Their lunch tasting menu during the weekday is my favorite.
- F. BastardNovember 29, 2016Great new spot for real Chinese food. Several Sichuan classics but many dishes new to me too. Enjoyed Le Shan chicken, clay pot rice, seafood pancake, lotus root app (but v. sweet). Spacious.
- You must must must get the smoky sole. Everything about this place is spectacular. Madame Z herself is a total gem. Also superb: agar noodles, fish soup, Dan Dan noodles, thinly sliced beef. 👌🏻✨
- Samantha BrydenOctober 22, 2017Was blown away by this place! I had the sticky rice and bacon siu mai, potato and ham rice, vegetable rolls, and the rose water jelly. Each of them was delicious, but you have to try to jelly!
- Sarah GOctober 27, 2017The food was delicious! Had the sticky rice shu mai, wontons in chili oil, dan dan noodles, crispy shrimp and beef with medalions. Service leaves something to be desired!
- Alex RobertsonMarch 8, 2017the food is very expertly prepared and mostly tasty but I wasn't wholly vibing with this place, which for the record I'd definitely classify as "two dollar signs" on the Foursquare pricing scale
- Marc SchneebergerJanuary 15, 2017I was there with a chinese friend and he said its the first time in the states I have chinese food which makes honour to our country. With this comment i feel I don't need to add anything!

- 🍕Lisa R Henderson 🍕August 3, 2016Really like the food here but seating is always an issue. First time I came they were closing at 9 pm. second time event plus reservations meant no seatings. Even though there are open seats.
- M HDecember 21, 2016As soon as we were sat for our 9pm reservation, they announced last call and we immediately had to order drinks, food and dessert with little ceremony. I felt rushed and unwelcome to be honest.
- CharlottesAugust 4, 2016There are some gems on the menu like dan dan and agar noddles but the lighting needs work in the bar area. It's like eating in an elevator!
- Kim PhamJanuary 5, 2017Such stunning, upscale Chinese fare. The sticky rice + bacon siu mai is STUPID good.
- Michael CosaboomSeptember 3, 2016Spicy cold noodles so good - house-made chile oil was spectacular. Will definitely come back to try other dishes.

- Marie RicherMarch 5, 2017I'm so bummed about this place! I had high hopes but the food was lukewarm, came out so fast it couldn't have been made to order, almost raw pork in the dumplings, bland. The servers were nice though.
- Nick AndlingerMarch 7, 2017Dan dan noodles, soup dumplings, and Sichuan chicken were good but didn't blow me away.
- TiffanyMay 7, 2017Fancy Chinese restaurant that serves up regional dishes! My favorite was the spicy noodle with chickpeas.
- Diana HsiehJanuary 5, 2017Decorations were great but clashed with the food. Well executed but uninspiring and really expensive. Pork belly was 1/4 pork belly and 3/4 bean sprouts. Ended up having to get a second meal.
- Chad HornerOctober 17, 2017dan dan noodles and the spicy fish stew - they might try to steer you away from the stew, but it’s not *that* spicy.

- Jameel JiwaniJanuary 19, 2017Dan Dan noodles and cabbage salad are a must. Great ambience... a little bright
- Honghui YuNovember 30, 2018Noodles and soup dumplings here are highlights. Appetizers are a hit or miss. Portions are generally small and prices are steep.
- Caroline LAugust 20, 2016Food was great but service was extremely lacking and inattentive. We repeatedly had to ask for more water and waiters were standing around chatting with each other.
- Anu JayasingheJanuary 21, 2018The food and atmosphere was great, but service wasn't the best. They were rushing us out when we were still finishing our food.
