Skip the very long entry line by paying €6 more for a guided tour (on top of the €10 admission). Check website for tour times, show up 15min before, go to the front of the line and ask for the tour.

Really great visit such a unique place.I was appalled by the flow of mostly French people who used flash to take pictures and touch bones even though Its strictly forbidden... Conservancy anybody ?

The tunnel floors get damp so be sure to wear proper shoes to prevent slipping. Also, at the end of the tour is a narrow, spiral staircase up. Be prepared for a climb. It's totally worth it though!

6 million Parisian skeletons were buried here over the past centuries. Beautiful yet creepy. It's definitely worth a visit, but get your tickets online to skip the queue.

Book a guided group tour (we used Get Your Guide). Great value for money and they even stand in the queue for you while you grab a coffee. Really knowledgable & fun - it adds so much to the experience

The queue crazy. It's better to book online or book a guided tour to skip the queue! Also good to have an audio guide to listen to the explanations about the place otherwise your trip will be wasted!

I went here 3 times and each time I am so impressed by the Catacombs. You have to see this unique place, and it's cooler here than outside during summer, we can call it a "chill" place ;)

I came in January and although there was a bit of a line, it moved very quickly. If you're on a tight schedule, book online and pay an extra 15€ to skip the line

An incredible experience. Well worth the wait in line, but plan on getting there at 8:30 to gain entry with the least wait. Be prepared for lots of steps and a 2km walk.

A large portion of the catacombs, which is not open to the public, was used as a gypsum quarry and featured in the James Bond film Moonraker (1979) as the tunnels under Hugo Drax's base of operations.

Afternoon line was incredibly long so go early or sneak / bribe your way into the front of the queue unless you want to wait over an hour to get in. Once inside it's really worth it though!

Some people say that the last admission is at 4pm but it changed or its depending on the season of the year. When i visited the catacombes in september the last admission was at 7pm.

It's a very peculiar place and worth the visit if you are not claustrophobic. Arrive early to avoid lines and be aware that the exit is far from the entrance, don't get lost

You will have to queue for 2-3 hours but its worth it as no other city has something like this. Bring a book. This underground cemetery is awe-inspiring, not a scary horror "attraction"

    1. Wear sensible shoes. 2. Take a leak, before you get in line. 3. Pack a lunch. 4. If there is ANY chance of rain, take an umbrella. [Comments 2-4 refer to the 2-hr wait you're in for.]

Be there at least 30 mins before they open. Waiting in line for 2 hrs is not uncommon, bring lunch. Also, bring flash light if you want to take better photos. It's slippery and watch for some puddle.
