This is a drinks only review. The Rocinante with peppered gin was a boozy spin in a martini / vesper. The cocktail menu here is excellent, just rock up at the bar and grab a drink. Not sure ask Colin.

Standouts: jamon iberico - basically the reason for the name Bellota. Cooked chunks of pork shoulder in the paella. Churros are more like donuts, but really good. And the semifreddo is AWESOME

Spanish-influenced restaurant from the folks behind Absinthe and boxing room. There's a lounge area where they host live music :)

This place is amazing for happy hour, they have epic tapas and incredible cocktails (I'd tell you my favorite but they rotate so frequently it won't be useful). Also a great spot for lunch and dinner!

Greatly enjoyed the Paella de Pluma, a hearty dish of succulent pork, nicely browned butternut and Delicata squash, and fragrant rice with lots of crunchy, toasty bits to scrape off the pan.

The restaurant is amazing, one of the best Spanish restaurant I’ve been to, although I have never been to Spain :) Nevertheless this one worth checking out! You will come back. The steak was great!!

This may have been the best meal I’ve ever had. We got gambas, the albondigas, broccoli, a divided paella (1/2 with chicken, and 1/2 with squid ink and seafood), and churros. Everything was perfect.

Good but tiny ‘Tower’ plate of pulpo and stun, $12 each. Fiduea seafood squid ink risotto enough for 4 at $35 and broccoli rabe with labneh and sautéed onions tapas $15. Modern indistrusl and warm.

HH Daily from 4-6pm; $6 tapas, including marinated Spanish olives, spiced Marcona almonds, Gilda Pincho, and queso del dia; select beer and wine for $6, and $5 sherry, sangria, cider, and vermouth.

This is a buzzy and beautiful place where drinks are top notch and the service is great. The food was pretty average. If you know paella you may be disappointed. All other things great! Getthe churros.

Inside airbnb's building. Food is delicious. The drink with oolong leafs is interesting. One minus is that waiters kept checking on us to see if we are ready to leave. Annoying.

We get a paella every time, they’re great! The croquetas are a standout favorite from the Tapas, but everyone else is lovely. Don’t miss the cocktails either!

Request to sit near the kitchen. You'll have a well lit seat with an awesome view of chefs hard at work.

A beautiful space. Inventive Spanish cuisine that has a bit of a California twist to it. Some dishes were a miss but overall a lovely experience.

How NOT to do Spanish food: try to "reinvent" it with a modern twist and dilute the flavours of the produce. Bellota fails abominably on the food count though the ambiance is hip.

The jamón iberica that bears the restaurant name was delicious but can't say it merits the $30 price tag. #sfexuberance

Unfortunately food quality is not as good as it was pre-COVID anymore. Very disappointing. Great presentation, but taste very average for the premium price. Paella was definitely a disappointment.

Absolute garbage. The Patatas Bravas were nice but the paella was disappointing. Greasy, too much alioli, to much mustard, the pork was way too greasy. The service was top notch, though.
