- Brian StraussJuly 25, 2017One of the top 3 museums I've been to in my life. Nebuchadnezzar's Ishtar Gate is stunning. Lines can be 3 hours long. Spend 2 more euros and buy a ticket online for a time slot to skip the line.
- Maya MoshkinaDecember 9, 2015Amazing collection! Ishtar gate and museum of islamic art are fascinating. Unfortunately renovation works are expected to last until 2019, so check the website and take museum island ticket in advanceUpvoted Mar 16
- Samantha BronsteinJuly 25, 2017Mostly wheelchair accessible. It takes you on a historical journey through time. While the elevator looks sketchy and you need someone to operate it for you .You also get a disabled discount.
- Mahmut Enes KayaalpFebruary 27, 2018Remarkable museum with artifacts and façades from areas of Ottoman rule. Some of them were unlawfully removed from Turkish land like the famous Pergamon Altar from Bergama and a mihrab from Konya.
