- Ka Yi LingFebruary 11, 2018Pineapple bun crust is make of sugar and looks uneven like pineapple skin. Definitely head to the cafe at holland V to enjoy a slab of butter in your warm bun. Mmmmmm. The best ever!!!
- Gabriel SeahJune 15, 2018Egg tarts are great - crust has body and bite, and the custard is rich. Plus you don't see fault lines (splits) in the custard even after they've been left in the fridge overnight
- Dora ChooJuly 9, 2017The Bolo Char Siew is a must try! The bun is soft and the char siew has that right amount of sweetness. Dun leave without purchasing the egg tarts! A must!Upvoted Mar 9
- Yarn LamJune 17, 2019Golden fried chicken chop topped with thick buttered toast, scrambled eggs and a melted slice of cheese on a pool of creamy mushroom sauce - what’s not to like? Comfort food to the max!
- Tai Cheong Bakery opens its first restaurant in Singapore on 18 Nov 2016. Prior to this Tai Cheong had pop-up stalls and a takeaway kiosk at Takashimaya S.C.
- TingMay 3, 2017Happy that this HK institution is now in Sg. Yummy egg tarts. Love the crust and that the egg custard is not too sweet.
- Grace LcmNovember 23, 2016Frankly speaking it's not really good as I had in HKG ! Especially the chicken pie ! Totally. Not worth buying @$2.80 each ! Guys don't be there early if u wanna dine in ,cafe open at 11am
- Shannon LowDecember 27, 2019Fun and tasty teatime snacks. Good cha siu po lo pao, condensed milk bun, curry fish balls and egg tarts. Nice booth seats too.
- Y.February 26, 2017Come for the egg tarts! Come in the late afternoon to skip the queue. Just have drinks and pastries.
- Ange SApril 4, 2017You can order spam fries! Do note that they will cost $6 for a small stack (cost of a chicken chop side, if you were wondering), and we felt that it wasn't really worth it.
- SaudadeJanuary 2, 2017Only pastries and drinks in the morning. Mains are served only from 11am. Weekends and PH start at 9am. Else come at 10am. Skip the chicken pie.
- Vincent AngDecember 1, 2016Comparing to Honolulu Cafe , the egg tarts here are much nicer 😊 Food wise also better 👍 However there's a lack of seating capacity and the service is slow 😢
- ZJanuary 26, 2017No queue during tea time on weekdays. Egg tarts are smooth and buttery. You can skip the tea and coffee, sadly.
- Very short staffed & poor service. The egg tarts are really yummy though ❤️
- Some vegetables should be added into the macaroni to balance the acidity of the soup.
- SongDecember 20, 2016Queue for egg tarts is much shorter than that at Orchard. There are only 4 people in front of me as at 6.15pm.
- Elizabeth LeeDecember 29, 2016Totally calories-worthy egg tarts. Now that the queuing is gone, I got my tarts in less than 5 min.
- Siang Hwee FooNovember 19, 2016They are really rigid! Dine in customer only allow to buy a box of 4 miserable egg tarts! They claim that those who Q for grab and go had waited for an Hour but hey we also Q for an hour!!!
- Klennie ChienApril 22, 2017Egg tart was pretty soft and good. However, the milk tea was terrible! Toast was just okay. Staffs are friendly btw.
- Dora ChooJuly 9, 2017Tomato soup macaroni - seems like it's for invalids who are recovering from the flu. Blah.
