- I like the pho here better than Kevin's across the street. The coconut curry noodle soup is good too. They also have crab and oxtail noodle soups here.
- Can get busy in here sometimes. Usually a table right by entrance reserved for single dinners. #1,2, 3 PhD it's my favorite. Also #12 (ox tail)

- Lance LoweOctober 20, 2013Working in East Bay, I'm used to varieties of pho restaurant. First time back in years since change of ownership. Disappointed on flavors of soup stock which is foundation of pho. MSG + H2O
- My favorites: five spice chicken (pho or vermicelli), chicken curry pho, and charbroiled pork vermicelli. You can't go wrong!
- Junot MenesesApril 22, 2013Imperial rolls the best! Charbroiled beef the best! Clay pot soup awesome! Sunset staple been coming here since I was a kid!
- Chefs FeedApril 20, 2016Ask anyone about phở and they will tell you it's all about the broth, and they do it right here. Read more
- Five spice chicken or curry pho! The absolute best choices at PPQ.
- TiziaApril 17, 2013Curry chicken vermicelli. If you get there too late they might run out of the soup and you have to share one between 4 people, don't let it happen!!
- #8 is the best soup. It's their signature coconut curry soup. Exchange the chicken breast for their signature five-spice chicken.
- Michael NguyenNovember 11, 2012Ok, this place makes a great ca kho to (roasted catfish). Definitely try it! And the papaya salad was da bomb!
- Brittany BushongMarch 4, 2018Besides having our menuse thrown on the table by the waitress walking by the food was great
- My go to pho place. I love the coconut chicken curry and oxtail here.
- Loren WooFebruary 14, 2012Our go-to spot for phở. Parking in the area can be tricky so we usually park on Irving east of 19th Street.
- High in zinc, shellfish are great for treating a cold. Try the crab pho next time you're fighting off a cold.
- Jane MarqueMarch 28, 2013Definitely go with the five spiced chicken and the spicy curry chicken vermicelli soup
- #8 large, substitute with the five spice chicken - enough to share with someone or be greedy on your own! Yum!
- This should be a popular tip. Order #7 with curry broth instead of ordering #8 with five-spice chicken. Easier to order.
- Hans RasmussenJune 10, 2013Get the medium. Yes, I know the large is only a dollar more, but it is a scary amount of food.
- Audrey SakaeJanuary 25, 2013Ox tail stew lo mein to soothe and warm the soul and clog the arteries deliciously
- takishido nekoOctober 16, 2014Thin noodles and savory broth, stick with the small unless you have a huge appetite.
- Totally thought this was a Star Trek convention on a drunken night. Turns out I left full of noodles and joy.
- Five spice chicken pho with broccoli is a well-rounded, delicious, and thoroughly satisfying meal.
- Curry Chicken Noodle Soup and change the regular chicken to Five Spice Chicken
- RobTakApril 5, 2010If you're okay with meat on the bone, get the Ox Tail Stew Lo Mein. Luscious, rich, unctuous, meaty goodness. Definitely stewy, not soupy.
- Chicken Curry Noodle Soup is the best, but switch vermicelli with pho noodles.
- Alton YuNovember 28, 2012This place isn't as good as it used to be. I go to Kevin's across the street now. The broth is pretty bland a lot of the time.
