- Pastries from Manresa Bread in Los Gatos, vary from day to day—On the day we visited, they had quiche, carrot cake, cookies, croissants, pull-apart bread, chocolate tarts and kougin amann cake slices.
- New food menu (with a few lower prices, specifically the top four items); Be sure to order your food before 2pm, as their kitchen closes for the day at 2. Delicious food with excellent presentation!
- The "Trail Mix Bar" ($4 to go) is filling, flavorful and unique, and made by Manresa Bread of Los Gatos (as are all the pastries). Great as a snack, a small meal replacement or caffeine balancer.
- Wide-ranging drink menu (especially for tea!). Unique coffee drinks: "Missle" = iced coffee concentrate with half-and-half and sugar syrup and "1 & 1" = single-shot espresso with single-shot macchiato
- Adrian PhillipsFebruary 11, 2018The espresso here is superb, If you feel like cold brew you won’t be disappointed. It’s on tap (nitro), comes in a fancy goblet which makes it look like you’re downing a Guinness at 9am in the morning
- Quick-reference drink menu behind the register—Unique coffee drinks: "Missle" = iced coffee concentrate with half-and-half and sugar syrup and "1 & 1" = single-shot espresso with single-shot macchiato
- Eclectic menu with various hot and cold options, ranging in price from $6 to $11. Oats and pudding come in 8oz. jars, biscuits come sliced and avocado toast is much more substantial than radish toast.
- Two doors, with the one at the corner better-suited for entering and the one on Market better for exiting. The shop is well-thought-out and equally good for grab-and-go folks and "for here" customers.

- The kitchen closes at 2pm on weekdays, so be sure to place your food order before 2; All of the food is delicious as well as well-portioned and nicely presented.
- Broccoli-and-cheese quiche ($8 to go; from Manresa Bread in Los Gatos) was fluffy, flavorful and well-portioned—It'd be even better warmed up, which they may be willing to do (didn't ask, so unsure).

- Creative seating options throughout the shop, including this bench near the front door — perfect for two-to-four people to sit and enjoy coffee while catching up.
- Try the whiskey latte (there's only a very little amount of alcohol in the reduced bourbon syrup). But be warned, the drinks and food are pretty pricey for a daily coffee run.
- Ashley MowreyMarch 5, 2017The space is beautiful and centrally located. Like the Santa Cruz location, the quality and consistency the baristas produce at this cafe are amazing.
- Jeremy GraceSeptember 4, 2017Great coffee, friendly baristas! From the pour over line to the Nitro cold brew, Verve is a grade A cafe experience. They also have a solid tea selection and top-notch espresso service. SF fav of mine
- AliceApril 29, 2017Amazing avocado toast with poached eggs but they only give you one piece. And comfortable seats are very difficult to find on a Saturday
- Between the extremely high-quality coffee-based beverages & baked goods from Manresa Bread, this cafe is an outstanding addition to the neighborhood. Beautifully designed space too. WinstonWanders.com
- Really welcome addition to the neighborhood. Good coffee and snacks in an area that has been a little lacking before. Good place to get a little work done if it’s not too busy.
- Retail merchandise displayed on the left wall as you walk in as well as near the registers, complete with beans, brewing gear and Verve apparel.
- Hot chocolate game is on point. Reminds me of Mexican chocolate Abuelita. WiFi is streetlevel.
- They offer "box of joe"-style coffee boxes, with 96oz of coffee, cups, sugar and half-and-half, for people headed to a meeting or gathering.
- Fantastic espresso shots. Also if you home brew they have reasonably priced equipment.
- Lone bathroom is in the back of the shop, down the hallway. Interior design is thoughtful and sleek, while being utilitarian. Bathroom is spacious and clean.
- Jeff BowenSeptember 11, 2018Awesomely-designed space with good vibes just like every other Verve location I’ve been to. The Poached Organic Egg Biscuit is one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. Wi-Fi password is “streetlevel”.
- Perfect little coffee nook on the corner of Church & Market – really anchors the intersection. It's small, but they have various seating options. Need I add the coffee is superb?!
- The latte (hot or iced) with “flavor” is fantastic. If you’re hungry, I recommend the avocado toast with a poached egg.
- JS1March 5, 2017Lattes and baked goods are great. I especially liked the fruit and nut bar they sell.
- Anthony AdamsFebruary 21, 20174$ Drip coffee > $6 - $12 pour overs. Multiple wifi connections will likely eat up limited seating with the hoards of mobile office workers. Best of luck!
- Get the polenta cake – lightly sweet and bit crunchy. If you want something special to drink I recommend the whiskey latte. No alcohol, but all the flavor!
- cami j.March 7, 2017the shop is beautiful, the baristas are friendly and knowledgeable and the coffee is amazing, as Verve always is.
- Alex PriceFebruary 8, 2018Ausgezeichnet. 💯 Coffee is delicious, staff is friendly. Coming for lunch? Get the avocado toast. It’s absolutely, far and away, the best I’ve had.
- Neel HajareDecember 2, 2022Pourovers are from the modbar machine (but still priced as if a human is doing it) and are better than their espresso drinks
- Tom MaxwellDecember 6, 2017Beautiful cafe with big windows to let in that California sun. It's always very crowded so not too great for camping with your laptop
- Tim MacalinoSeptember 5, 2017Needing a good size hearty breakfast? Try the biscuit with prosciutto wrapped around a poached egg! 👍👍🐷🐷😉
- Get an 1 and 1 to taste the difference between espresso and espresso with a touch of milk.
- Josiah ForgathMarch 12, 2019Amazing to find a coffee shop offering an espresso tonic. Will soon be a staple as popular as cold brew.
- Patti WolfNovember 12, 2018Birthday chai - made special for me on my special day. Thanks Verve SF You made my day!

- Kendal CockrelAugust 9, 2018Cute coffee shop right on Market. Staff is incredibly friendly and the pastries are good.
- Super friendly service, and the coffee is excellent. Expect a little bit of a wait.
- Lauren MacOctober 27, 2017The décor, the plants, the espresso, the staff 👌🏻 Wonderful part of the neighborhood.
- They used to have a good cold brew before they got rid of it in favor of the canned thing. Still have good espresso though.
