Lee ByronMay 28, 2017This theater used to be a gem with great snacks, drinks, and character. Worth a journey across town. Recently bought by AMC, now bland and boring. No longer worth the trip.

What happened to our lovely Kabuki?! Still in transition but ugh. Uniqueness gone.
J TNovember 13, 2018The friendly neighborhood theater. While it may have lost the pre-AMC era charm, it's still nice. Screens 7 and 8 in particular are fun because they feel like a big home theater, very intimate.
This place used to have better food and drink before it joined the AMC group, but it’s still a solid place to see a movie.
Not as premium now that it’s an AMC... you have a solid 20 min from start time before the movie begins. Still a bar though!

One of my favorite under-rated theaters in SF. Used to come here as a kid before it was AMC so glad its still around.

You can take drinks and food inside yaay . The seats are comfy

I miss the food from when it was Sundance but they still have the bar/lounge
- They’re always understaffed. Sometimes they don’t event have popcorn ready. If you have other options, I wouldn’t recommend it.
