Outstanding museum. Takes you through the entire war in a very interactive exhibit experience. Highly recommend for the history buff or the general learner. It's a great experience.

This museum has complete information of the Civil War at high level, including its cause, progress, and outcome. Thus allows me to grasp the big picture, and not a small piece of it.

The museum lacks a cafe/restaurant. A visit takes 3 hours. Plan accordingly.

The National Civil War Museum portrays the events of the Civil War as a timeline - from the issues straining the nation, to the conclusion of the war at Appomattox Court House.
