Fast pass is so worth it, get it if you can. Top 3, H.P. Forbidden journey, Simpson's & the mummy. Skip shrek 4-D, kids will enjoy it though. And check out Laika display of stop motion puppets
Parking can be a bit confusing. Arriving right at opening and taking advantage of single rider lines (aka no lines) will get you far! It's possible to do every attraction in the park in one day!
This is my favorite theme park that I've been to. There's more to see and do than just rides but the rides that are there are REALLY fun! Definitely go for a couple days!
We really enjoy our day there. The price is high (110$ per person) but it was worth it. If you buy your ticket by the webpage, you’ll enter one hour before
Try getting here early. You'll beat the crowds and get a lot of rides done. Especially Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, one of the best rides in the park!
Awesome place! Front of line pass was not needed (end of August, Wednesday) - max waiting time 25 mins. Arrive before the park opens to enjoy full day.
The best ride by far is the Hollywood Studio Tour. It is well worth the wait in line. Have been to Universal in FL several times and this ride covers several of their and they don't have the studios.
Can't hold a candle to D-Land or Knott's Berry Farm in terms of rides or production values. Exception is the Harry Potter world which was very well done. Fast pass is spendy but a life saver
Studio tour is awesome, if you complete all the rides and you still have some time left, take the tour again - it will worth it, every guide is not the same.
King Kong 360 3D and Transformers 3D are worth the wait. Don't like long lines? use the single rider line. You can get right on in no time. Waterworld is a must see. It never gets old. See it at night
A truly memorable experience at Universal 👏🏽 thnx 2 our guide Mary as well. We enjoyed our VIP experience which other theme parks haven’t matched! Enjoy the Harry Potter light show at night
Buy a minion sipper and you can have a huge cup of soda for free which will pretty much last you for the day. If not, any refills will be $0.99 each time so if you plan to buy one, buy early.
Sure, if you're visiting SoCal, do come here but don't compare it to Orlando's that would be unfair, it's smaller but pretty fun and exciting. Plan your visit ahead of time, LA's traffic is inevitable
You must save a day for it and come early to enjoy the sickest rides.Mummy is a disappointment but the Jurassic Ride is amazing. Dont leave before taking the studio tour also and go single-u dont wait
Great fun! My favourites were Springfield and Studio Tour. Have enough time to visit the attractions and rides. Expect to wait 30-45 minutes to the popular attractions. Summertime probably more.
It's a bit different from the one in Florida there is no roller coasters here. But i really enjoyed it I loved the Jurassic park especially the new game and the walking dead OMG I almost died their 😆
If you live in Los Angeles and want a Universal Studios Season Pass, pay the extra dollars and get the FRONT OF THE LINE pass.. you will not regret it.. get in front of every attraction and go through
When it opens quickly run to the other level to finish the rides to avoid the queue. Studio tour should be done last because the queue there moves quickly anyway.
Harry Potter's World was awesome (& I am not a fan of the books or movies). Hit those rides at opening or late in the day when lines are not so bad. The chicken @restaurant in HP area was outstanding
Go early about one pm or earlier gets so crowded you can't get around. We went at 10:30am and left at five. And still didn't get to see every thing. It would take two or three days to see it all.
With all the renos going on right now, the studio tour is shorter. The Waterworld stunt show is definitely worth seeing, but make sure you get a seat in the back - unless you enjoy being drenched.
TRANSFORMER ride is THE BEST! Kids love it & it's also nice that they make it easy to get photo ops with Magatron & Optimus! Get to the park early & make a beeline here before going on anything else.
You can't come to LA without passing by universal studios. Upgrade to "front of the line" tickets its totally worth it. VIP tickets kind of expensive but is the best!!
Get a free map and plan your rides accordingly. If your solo there is a shorter line, so you done spend a lot of time inline. If your at the entrance by 10am you can do all the rides by closing time.
Great fun! Take all the rides, watch the shows and have great time. You may really get wet at WaterWorld. Mummy (ride) is the least interesting. Simpsons, Minions and Transformers rides are amazing!
Fun rides. I recommend the Universal Studios Tour ride but it gets very crowded so do that one in the morning. The stores outside of the amusement park are real nice. There are lots of restaurants.
As far as thrill rides there are not a lot here and I would recommend the Florida park or Disneyland, but If you're a movie buff this park is incredible as it is located on the UniversalFilm sets!
No trip to LA is complete without a day spent at universal studios. The studio tour is great and was worth the 1 hour wait. Try a giant donut and some flaming Moe's at Moe's tavern.
I recommend to do the studio your early in the morning so you don't get insane long lines in the afternoon. The burgers at Hollywood grill are great, must try.!
Go early... Go directly to the lower lot and go on all of the rides there. Best rides are on the lower lot (transformers, the mummy and Jurrasic Park). Then go back to the upper lot and back lot tram
The Despicable Me, Transformers and Jurassic Park rides are very good. Also, do not miss the studio tour. The wait times reduce drastically around 7pm (after most families with kids leave).
there are several shops, they often are pricey do to the location and it also has merchandise of famous movies and popular attractions, over all, great and fun place for the whole family
If you are visiting Venice Beach beforehand, stop by at the Costco nearby. Season passes are like fifteen dollars cheaper than even the one time general admission at the gates.
What a great day out loved the tour and the 3d king kong part. The new transformers ride is amazing. Very shocked there wasn't any wifi in the whole park.
Arrived 11:30, left at 7pm. With front of the line passes got to see everything in the park once - max queue time 5 mins, well worth it. Highlights were Transformers, Despicable Me.
A lot of rides are pretty similar (using videos/animation to create an immersive 3D experience). Niece and nephew loved it though so it’s a thumbs up from me.
Tour is good. But be aware. All atrractions except Tour is only fun park. Good for children. Better if you buy Front of line tickets, it will save lot of your time in lines, couple of hours.
Definitely recommend riding the mummy!! Long wait but definitely worth it!! Also love the transformers ride and the Jurassic Park ride!! If you go check out those rides and also the studio tour!!
Eat place I have ever been - I felt entertained all day. Get there EARLY to dodge the queues for the main rides, start at the back of the park (Transformers) and work your way back.
Harry Potter, Transformers and Mummy rides are very much fun. The Studio Tour is of course a classic and the attractions there are also awesome. Make sure you visit the Special Effects show too!
I was unconvinced about the "3d attractions" until I tried them. They really feel like you are on a movie and the adrenaline rush is similar as with real rollercoasters!
Nice park, it fits all ages and has many interesting shows and rides. I believe one full day is enough to go over the entire park. Absolutely recommend it
