Yarn Lam: Beautiful place. You can learn about the old hydroelectric power station that was built here to power the building of the railway at Flåm Railway Museum.
Yarn Lam: The Flåm Railway is great in winter! Pay attention to the announcements on where the views are. We had almost the whole car to ourselves and could move freely for the best shots.
Yarn Lam: Great little compact place with a decent variety of animals. There are rather interesting 15-min shows running in the cinema downstairs every hourly. Free with Bergen Card in winter.
Yarn Lam: Came here for a quick bite before getting on the Fløibanen. Reasonably good, fresh, food and coffee. Nice to watch the world go by while sitting at the window.
Yarn Lam: Collect your Bergen Card from the airport information counter. It’s on the right of the exit from baggage belts. Free travel on Bergen Light Rail to the city centre with the Card.
Yarn Lam: Small place but great burgers. Love the Super Mario themed menu! Bullet Bill tasted great with the flavours of the spices all coming through. Garlic mayo with onion rings were super too!
Yarn Lam: Food isn’t anything to shout about, but decor is nice and there’s a small kids play area for the young ones to keep entertained while parents eat.
Yarn Lam: Everything in town is in walking distance and people here are really friendly and kind! In winter we saw the Sami Festival with reindeer right in the middle of the street.
Yarn Lam: Better than the maritime museum next door. Interesting and interactive exhibits and you get to explore the entire inside of the ships. Good for 2 hours here!
Yarn Lam: It’s small but full of history about the Vikings. Make this your first stop before hopping back onto the 30 bus to the Fram Museum. Entry fee covered by Oslo Pass.
Yarn Lam: Worth a stop on your Oslo pass to learn about the history of the Nobel Peace Prize. Open 10-18 even in winter. Thought-provoking rotating and permanent exhibits. Whirled peas!
Yarn Lam: Fresh food and great loklok in a pot/BBQ/deep fried! No crowd, free parking, very friendly staff. Hung out here chit-chatting for over 3 hours on a Friday night.
Yarn Lam: Beef steak pairs really well with caramelised onions and the herb butter. Home-made cabbage slaw and well-seasoned fries!! Don’t even need chilli or ketchup.

Yarn Lam: Went for the yuzu and creamy soup bases. Nice quiet place with good quality meat sliced to order. Avoid the mouldy ice cream scoop like the plague pls.
