The muffins are seriously boss.
Very personalised service for buying coffee beans. I get to try so many different roasters through these guys.
I've been here several times now and the coffee from just okay to service station level bad.
All subs and wraps are $4, well sized and healthier options given all of the kebab stores around here.
This coffee isn't part of the new wave culture. It's simple, it's traditional, it's cheap and is inhabited by enthusiastic old Italian men. I like it.
Check out Dear Monday - beautiful quality musicians playing with free entry every week.
After 5 years of working around the area this replaced Padre as my favourite coffee place.
Open since Feb this year, run by a lovely husband & wife team who will unfailingly make you feel welcome.
As of last month there is a new chef and all new menu. No more Henry's Beans...
This place is now owned by Future Entertainment. There should be better electronic music. That said we saw some world class DJs from a Summerdayze sideshow and they closed early. Very annoying.
Nice variety of great acts - I have seen all sorts here. My most frequented band room in the city. They have a very helpful mailing list on their site.
Lot's of great bands and comedy acts - some free. Keep an eye out on their website.
Four flavours - spicy meet, chicken, mushroom or the traditional cheese and spinach with optional yoghurt.
Difficult to recommend as a lunch/coffee place with Giddiup, Freestyle and Chez Dré nearby. Will come back to try the famous breaky though.
If you're after good Mexican in the area, go to Los Amates instead.
Constant rotation of great beers by very knowledgeable staff. Don't know what that Leon guy is on about.
