Real NY Diner. Busy, fast, delicious. My guilty pleasure: tuna melt with cheddar on rye. Pickle and onion rings on the side.
They’ve stopped making Ramen. It was a Ramen restaurant, and a pretty great one—the most authentic Ramen in NoMad. So they stopped making it. Who knows why? Also, there are no more vegetarian options.
Clean, spacious, modern. Have never seen it crowded. TSA line never too bad. Friendly and polite staff. High staff to customer ratio.
Enjoy vibrant party atmosphere at this 24/7 Cuban diner. Stuffed poblano pepper, the only vegetarian dinner option, is nothing special. But “black beans & rice” is solid, and deserts are to die for.

Expensive but nice boutique hotel. Private cabanas. Elegant dining (not much for kids besides french fries, though). Reserve south-facing room overlooking the Atlantic.
Well manicured, relatively uncrowded beach accessible via LIRR. Nice little diners & suburban houses. Great place to get Long Island (as opposed to Brooklyn) flavor of NY summer beach. Beach fees.
When Central Park is too big, Union Square Park too dirty, Bryant Park too formal, Madison Square Park is just right!
John, Paul, George, and Ringo slept here. (They also fished out the window.) A secular shrine at the wonderful Edgewater Hotel.
