The cutest little place with delicious sweet treats w slight Middle Eastern twist.
A cozy little cafe in East Village. Their Stumptown latte is nice to be enjoyed with alfajore. They have other Jewish pastries.
Cute cafe, quite small but cosy. The coffee was awesome and the homemade croissants were still warm and delicious
The girl has trouble pronouncing alfajores
Cortado, date and poppy seed rolls are good.
Great to meet Jewish girls. Don't expect to score if you are not a jew though.
Great local spot for a quite coffee and baked goods.
Great salads, avocado toast and sweets. Good coffee too!!
Good, but $4.50 for a coffee good? Idk
Incredible pastries and coffee served up in a quaint EV shop with just the right amount of tables and chairs. They also sell and ship cookies online.
Very nice barista, good iced latte, cortado has too much milk in it. Pastries are amazing, very fresh. The space is cozy.
Cinnamon roll was tasty. Other, less typical rolls (date, chocolate, etc.) also looked good. Yogurt with homemade granola was excellent. Pleasant escape from the hubbub of the East Village.
The cookies are delicious.
Wonderfully special cookies. Good coffee. Lovely relaxed space.
The owner is really nice and the interior looks cute. Also cookies.
Chocolate Rose is my favorite pastry in EV

They make the best fruit cake made from dates, figs, apricots, and four different types of nuts called Love Load. It is the best fruit cake. And it's dairy-free (non-dairy) too!
THE MINI ALFAJHORES ARE DULCE DE LECHE FILLED COOKIE SANDWICHES AND THEY'RE BOMB
THE MATZO BALL SOUP IS BEAUTIUL
Almond milk and delicious pastries
Cozy up at a window seat w/ a Stumptown brew and baked goods, particularly the dulce de leche cookie and lemon shortbread bar. Add a Zucker's halwa rose to the mix for an Israeli-esque bite.
Chocolate babka is a classic.
Adorable bakery with equally adorable cookies. Try any with fruit, the fillings are handmade! Also, plus for not being too sweet!
Challah toast with avocado za'atar
Everything is delicious, but the roses in any flavor are the best.
Perfect place to pick up some yummy treats on your way to Tompkins sq park. Their date cookies are absolutely delicious and so is the avacado spread
Bring cash. Otherwise $10 minimum.
Such a cute homey cafe! They even have games and more importantly Rummikub! A hidden gem for pastry & coffee lovers.
We are hosting professor radish friday dinner … Must try So Good http://www.professorradish.com/2013/11/dinner-in-bakery.html?m=1
The East Village baker is stuffing its jelly donuts with actual meat, for a sweet-savory handheld treat. Powdered-sugar exterior and option for turkey/gravy or turkey/cranberry fillings.
A tiny, family-owned bakery with great classic sweets like babka and rugelach.
The roses (cinnamon raisin buns!) are unreal. That and a soy latte- the perfect Sunday morning. Don't worry about cash only, they have Square.
Season special must try sweet potato marshmallow filled #Stufganyot
Talk to the staff, grab a cold brew, try out some treats (honey almond fingers!), read a book, then sit outside and enjoy the block!
Zucker Bakery (& 50+ other eateries) will be sampling their fare at our 2013 Choice Eats tasting event on 3/19 - can't wait! http://ow.ly/h6OAc
It's like the tiny Jewish bakery version of Chocolaterie Maya (yes, from the movie). Simple, classic, and absolutely lovely.
The toasted challah with avocado spread is a must.
Live the newbie treat! Thanks for the cookie, Zucker Bakery!
Can't go wrong:)
