It certainly is a great airport. I only got in trouble with parking machines, because they don’t give change, when you replace humans by machines it should be at least the same level of service.

There is a per-hour snooze cube next to gate 122 for sleeping and high speed internet. 15 USD per hour, min stay 2 hours.

If you want to use the airport-wide free Wi-Fi (maxspot), then try with a lot of patience. It could take a long time to get connected to the internet.

Great transit airport, big duty free shops but price tag are quite high. Dont miss Shake Shack in concourse A. Wi-Fi works badly

If you're flying Emirates with a 4hr+ transit - go to the transit desk and show your boarding pass to claim a free meal voucher! :-D

Cdn visitors now need visas ... Marhaba airport services will get them on 24 hr notice + meet you on arrival and whisk you through VIP immigration and customs line. Worth $100, esp. for business.

Huge - but highly efficient and well run. Was hit by dense fog which caused some delays - not sure if that is frequent or not, but there certainly is worse places to wait in.

Terminal 3 is decent (can't say the same abt it's toilets though); few food options (cafe Nero, costa, starbucks - one by gate b1 has seating area); there is also Paul (arnd gate b1);

Free food for Emirates transit passengers. Food is unlimited, but you can enter to the cafe only once per stop. It's better to do it not at the snacks time. Veg / non Veg

Get Egate for 220 AED. It is the best. If you can get a visa at arrival you are qualified for Egate.

Love: home airline Emirates, flight connections to the world, large and spacious design, plentiful (mostly courteous) help on hand. Hate: long bus rides after long flights, massive crowds, long lines.

Tip: make sure you walk lots for circulation. Most duty free alcohol is cheaper in Dubai than in Brisbane. Stock up! eg: Smirnoff 1.25litres $13US
