- Sibel AkcekayaApril 3, 2014This is a design hotel that makes you feel like New Yorker.Area is great, there are lots of restaurants and popular stores, it is close to metro and Central Park..This is great value for the money
- Cruella MoxhamFebruary 18, 2015Staff at LocL are epic. Dog friendly, dog friendly, dog friendly. Can't state this enough. Cool vibe. 2nd floor rm a bit noisy with construction happening in both lots on either side--that's NY!
- David La CrossNovember 10, 2013Lobby has free WiFi, a big table with lots of outlets and coffee. Great spot to drop in and get some work done on the UWS.
- Matthew CaldecuttDecember 6, 2015The bar is a great place to meet with friends on the Upper West Side and relatively quiet/the opportunity to order from Serafina next door.
- ReedSeptember 17, 2012Very nice and accommodating staff. Great value for the price. The neighborhood is terrific and you have wonderful 24 hour markets across the street.
- Arne FaabergFebruary 24, 2018Bar, service was very good. Also the location. Room a little small and poor ventilation especially in the bathroom. But I loved it
- Don KingAugust 12, 2012Nice place. Easy to get to Metro 72st Express to 34st Penn, convenience stores close by. Wi Fi weak. Hot water in rooms takes a while to come throuh. lifts take a while.
- Hayley BottonaDecember 20, 2014Great price, nice and helpful staff. The only thing that was bad was the breakfast. The salmon was slimy, the muffins were like rocks.
- Brian PNovember 24, 2015Dog friendly & indoor. Nice staff and enough TV to show all the local games. Limited food menu but tasty.
- TaraJune 8, 20131st time here and love it. Awesome neighborhood and easy to get around...despite renovations, still enjoyed it.
- amanda brookeJuly 5, 2017cool hotel, if you use the valet.. it takes 45+ minutes to get your car. definitely plan ahead.
- Diana ArcherDecember 12, 2017Small dorm like room with no cable reception. The mattress was very comfortable and the hotel was centrally located. Hotel bar was small to accommodate the rooms.
- Jeaneane PatriceFebruary 29, 2012I always try to book here when hubby has a procedure at mskcc you can park on many streets for free. Just mind the signs.
- Michael Fox-RabinovitzApril 14, 2017Lovely decor, great location, welcome addition to the neighborhood
- The elevators move at a snail's pace. Since you are using FourSquare, you are likely young enough to just take the stairs and save time.
- Rooms are clean/new and staff is friendly but wifi in rooms comes with a fee ($14). No fridge and bathroom amenities are ridiculous. Don't bother staying uptown unless you have an unbeatable rate.
- Love this place! Been here three times now! Great value per night in January!!!
- Otel.comJune 22, 2012Head to the 16th floor balcony to lounge around and enjoy amazing views of the city.
- PelleMarch 26, 2011If you're to the US for only a few days, don't bother with the 12 USD per day wifi. Go to T-Mobile across the street (open 10am until 8pm) and get a SIM card for your Mifi or laptop: Pay as Go + Day W
- Dawn D.February 14, 2011Great staff and very affordable. Great place to stay period! Can't wait to visit again.
- Check the balconies on the 14th and 16th floor for the views!
- My favorite hotel in NY. Between the Riverside Park and the Central Park. Amazing neighbourhood.
- DO NOT do breakfast at Serefina next door. Service is slow, food is cold. Mgmt just stands around and watches the staff struggle to keep up. Better places up on Amsterdam with better food for same $.
- Aicha BaakiliAugust 22, 2011was the most horrible experience I did in NY... very dirty, booked a sweet and there were minibar... and more...
- Olivia ByingtonDecember 6, 2011Internet doesn't work in the room. They ofered me to change my room instead of fixing it.
