- Anastasiia ....November 15, 2014Heavy seas codler Beer is amazinh, NOT IPA :) little sweet with nice after taste!!
- Eat the calzone. It’s crowded and parking sucks but worth it.
- Vibrant but casual atmosphere. Consistently great food and coffee. A local favorite.
- Zahid ZamanSeptember 2, 2012If you want to get seated, bring 7 babies with you, otherwise they will ignore you. Parties of two have to wait at least an hour for brunch (idea for future: invest in fake strollers).
- Tirdad KiamaneshMay 27, 2017I do not recommend it, menu was not interesting. The staff were not friendly and the service was poor. Cafe was not fresh.with that price, Omni hotel has a great buffet with 25$ an lots of options.

- Love the Open City burger with the chipotle mayo!
- second best chai latte in the city. great spot for those hangover breakfasts at 2 in the afternoon on a Sunday...
- The Open City (N)OMELET is the way to go, folks. Hashbrowns and bacon INSIDE? Yes.
- Deven BlackburnSeptember 21, 2012Great coffee - really. I always grab a red-eye when I'm in this part of town.
- Ben LaMasterApril 10, 2012The hummus is awesome, as is the chicken salad sandwich with homemade chips
- veggie scramble w/ boursin, side of potatoes and a croissant subbed for toast ftw
- If you don't do breakfast you can still get a hamburger with your coffee.
- Gluten free chocolate cake is wonderful (even if you don't have to worry about gluten!).
- Really like this place, but wish they wouldn't have taken artichokes off their side salad.
- $10 and draught and burger on Monday may be one of the best deals in the city
- This is not in Chevy Chase, MD - it is in DC. Great staff, good food and reliable.
- Toffee TianDecember 10, 2011Croque madame is good. Open City Burger was not as good as expected. Patty was a little bit burnt even we ordered medium rare. We got new one actually.
- You have to get the pot pie. I look forward to it every year.
- Along with brunch they make a mean "personal" pizza. My fave is pepperoni and olives.
- Michelle CottleMarch 24, 2014The gluten free piZza crust was dry and heavy. It arrived barely above room temperature. Cheese heavy and thick. Butternut squash not soft enough.
